Itinerary

The day begins with a sightseeing tour of Copenhagen, the capital of the Kingdom of Denmark. This enchanting city is steeped in fairy-tale charm, with one of its most famous landmarks being The Little Mermaid statue, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s tale. The statue, a true symbol of Denmark, has even traveled to international exhibitions, such as the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. Your next stop is Amalienborg Palace, a stunning example of Danish Rococo architecture from the 1700s. If you're fortunate, you might witness the ceremonial changing of the guards, a spectacle performed every afternoon. As the tour continues, you’ll pass Hans Christian Andersen Boulevard, where a statue of the celebrated author stands on City Square. Andersen, known for beloved stories such as The Ugly Duckling and The Little Mermaid, traveled extensively, drawing inspiration for his works. After lunch, the group departs for Jönköping in Sweden. Overnight stay in Jönköping or a nearby city.

After breakfast, the journey continues to Stockholm, the beautiful capital of Sweden, often called the "Venice of the North" for its location across 14 islands in the Baltic Sea. Upon arrival, a city tour takes you to Stockholm City Hall (Stadshuset), one of the most iconic buildings in the city. This architectural marvel features the Blue Hall, home to the annual Nobel Banquet, and the Golden Hall, adorned with over 18 million glass and gold mosaic tiles. The tour also includes stops at the old Parliament building, the historic Vasa warship, and the magnificent Storkyrkan Cathedral, a gem of Swedish history. Overnight stay in Stockholm or a nearby city.

Today’s itinerary takes you to Lillehammer in Norway. The journey passes by Lake Mjøsa, the largest lake in Norway and a popular spot known for its serene beauty and abundance of fish. This lake also hosted events during the 1994 Winter Olympics. Though you won’t visit Lillehammer city itself, the evening is spent enjoying the tranquility of the surrounding landscapes. Overnight stay in Lillehammer or a nearby city.

The morning begins with a drive to Briksdal Glacier, the largest glacier on the European continent. Located within Jostedalsbreen National Park, this awe-inspiring glacier spans 800 square meters and plunges to depths of 400 meters. To get closer, you'll embark on troll-cars, open vehicles that allow you to marvel at the cascading waterfalls, clear streams, and rugged mountain scenery surrounding the glacier. After some free time to explore and take photographs, the tour continues southward toward Gudvangen. Overnight stay in Sogndal or a nearby city.

The day begins with a journey to the Stegastein Lookout, a dramatic platform that juts out from the mountain, offering breathtaking views of Aurlandsfjord, one of the pristine branches of the renowned Sognefjord, also known as the "King of the Fjords." The tour proceeds to Flåm, where you’ll enjoy a ride on the Flåm Railway, one of the world’s most scenic train journeys. This train ride offers spectacular views of fjords, valleys, and waterfalls. Later, you’ll embark on a two-hour scenic cruise through the majestic Geirangerfjord, known for its unparalleled natural beauty. Overnight stay in Flåm or a nearby city.

Today’s journey leads to Oslo, the capital of Norway. Every year on December 10th, Oslo hosts the Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony, commemorating Alfred Nobel's legacy. The tour includes a visit to the famous Vigeland Sculpture Park, located in Frogner Park, where more than 212 bronze and granite sculptures depict the human experience. This artistic masterpiece is must-see. Overnight stay in Oslo or a nearby city.

In the morning, the coach heads south to Gothenburg, Sweden’s second-largest city and a major European port. At Götaplatsen, you’ll find the seven-meter-high Poseidon statue by Carl Milles, which caused a sensation when unveiled in 1931. Another highlight is the iconic Feskekôrka, a fish and seafood market housed in a building resembling a church. The tour concludes at Gothenburg Cathedral (Domkyrkan Göteborg) before continuing south to Copenhagen, where the tour ends with an overnight stay in the city or a nearby area.
