Terms & Conditions for FIT Tour Package
Airline Ticket
Upon registration and confirmation of the airline ticket request, the traveler is required to remit full payment for the airline ticket as per the dateline advised by the person-in-charge at Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. This payment must be made in a timely manner to secure the airline booking.
For ground services and any additional payments, the traveler must remit a booking deposit, which is a 100% non-refundable deposit amounting to 30% of the total package price, excluding the cost of the airline ticket. This deposit must be paid within three (3) days after registration or according to the dateline advised by the person-in-charge at Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd.
The remaining balance of the total package price must be paid at least forty-five (45) days prior to the departure date or by the specified dateline. Failure to meet these deadlines may result in the cancellation of the booking.
Amendments
No amendments or changes to the booking can be made within sixty (60) days before the scheduled departure date.
If the participant wishes to change the arrival date in Malaysia (to either an earlier or later date), they must notify Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. by sending an e-mail or letter at least forty-five (45) days before the travel dates. Any request for such a change is subject to the discretion of Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd., and we reserve the right to accept or reject the request.
Should the request be approved, any additional costs incurred due to the changes will be the sole responsibility of the participant. Additionally, the participant will be charged an administrative fee for processing the changes.
Cancellation Policy
In case of cancellation, the following fees apply:
- If the cancellation is made 60 days or more prior to the scheduled travel dates, the traveler will forfeit 100% of the booking deposit.
- If the cancellation occurs within 45 days of the travel dates, no refund will be given for any amounts paid towards the tour package.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing and are subject to the outlined refund policies.
Important Information for Tour Packages
- Price Changes: The price of the tour package is subject to change based on currency fluctuations. Therefore, the final price may vary depending on the exchange rate at the time of payment.
- Itinerary Amendments: Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. reserves the right to amend the itinerary without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated to participants promptly.
- Travel Insurance: For Malaysian travelers, travel insurance is mandatory for all international packages. For more information or to purchase travel insurance, please click here.
- Tour Leader: Please note that there will be no tour leader from Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. accompanying this tour.
- Refund Processing: Refunds will not be processed immediately. Please allow up to one (2) month for the refund to be completed.
- Hotel and Flight Details: All hotel and flight details provided are for reference only and are subject to change until you receive final confirmation from Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd.
- Hotel Facilities: Not all hotels provide electric kettles or ironing facilities. It is advisable to bring your own if needed.
- Triple Room Accommodation: Not all hotels offer triple rooms. Therefore, a triple-sharing room will be based on a twin-sharing room with an extra bed / roll bed / sofa bed. Each room must be booked for at least two adults paying the full fare; only then can a child fare apply.
- Flight Ticket: This package does not include flight tickets unless explicitly stated. If you wish to book flights through Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd., there will be an additional charge of RM 40 per ticket per person.
- Passport Validity: The passport's validity must exceed six (6) months from the date of arrival in the destination country. Please ensure that your passport meets this requirement.
- Passport Copy: A copy of your passport should be emailed to the tour officer at least 45 days before departure to ensure smooth processing of your booking.
- Eligibility for Travel: It is advisable to verify that you are eligible to travel overseas and that your name is not on any blacklists (such as for bank debts, PTPTN issues, etc.). Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. will not be held responsible if you are not allowed to travel on the day of departure due to these issues.
- Halal Meals: For packages that include Halal meals, meals will be suitable for Muslims, except for breakfast, which will be served as part of a standard international buffet menu. In locations where Halal meals are difficult to find, alternative meals, such as seafood, vegetarian, or packed Halal meals, will be provided.
- Acknowledgement of Terms and Conditions: These terms and conditions are provided for your information. By booking this package, you are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
- Non-Utilization of Services: No refund or reduction will be made for any member who does not utilize any included services (such as accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport, or other services) due to personal reasons.
- Minimum Number of Participants: The prices quoted are based on a minimum of two (2) persons unless otherwise specified. For group tours, if the number of participants is insufficient, the group will be combined with our consortium partner.
- Feedback and Complaints: If you are satisfied with the tour, you can submit a review by clicking on the appropriate link for either our Selangor Branch or Johor Branch. If you wish to make a complaint, please contact the management via email at info@amitravel.my for further assistance.
Delays and Flight Issues
The timings of air, sea, road, or rail departures are only estimates. Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. cannot be held responsible for any flight delays or cancellations caused by factors beyond our control. These factors include but are not limited to adverse weather conditions, rescheduling by airlines, actions of airport authorities or air traffic controllers, mechanical breakdowns, or industrial action.
In the event of long flight delays leading to lost holiday time, no refunds or compensation will be provided by hotels, suppliers, or airlines. Similarly, airlines do not offer compensation for delays, and Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. cannot be held liable for such issues.
Alterations or Cancellations by Us
While Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. will make every effort to operate tours as advertised, we reserve the right to change any of the facilities, services, prices, or itineraries described in the tour package. This includes, but is not limited to, changes due to rescheduling by airlines, suppliers, or any unforeseen circumstances.
No compensation will be paid for alterations or cancellations caused by changes or cancellations to schedules by airlines or any Force Majeure events. Force Majeure events include, but are not limited to, war, the threat of war, riot, civil disobedience, industrial disputes, terrorist activity, natural disasters, fire, adverse weather conditions, epidemics or health risks, technical or maintenance problems with transportation, closed or congested airports or ports, unforeseen operational decisions by air carriers, or any event beyond our control.
Additionally, we reserve the right to change the air carrier for any tour, and no compensation will be payable in the event of such a change. Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. also reserves the right to cancel a tour under any circumstances, and no compensation will be given for such cancellations.
Complaints
Should any issues arise during the tour, the traveler must notify both the relevant supplier (e.g., hotel, tour operator) and Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd.'s representative immediately. This is crucial to allow us the opportunity to address and resolve the issue. Failure to lodge a complaint on the spot may result in the traveler’s ability to claim compensation being reduced or entirely extinguished.
Passport, Visas, and Health Requirements
It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that they meet all passport, visa, and health requirements for the entire journey. Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. cannot be held liable for any denial of boarding, entry into a destination, or any other issues arising due to improper documentation. In the event that Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. suffers any loss or expense due to the traveler’s failure to meet these requirements, the traveler will be required to reimburse Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. for any costs incurred.
Acting as Agents Only
Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. acts solely as an agent for carriers, transportation companies, hotels, and other service providers. As such, Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. is not responsible for any losses, damages, accidents, changes in schedules, or any other irregularities caused by circumstances beyond our control. We do not accept liability for any death, personal injury, or loss of any nature that the traveler may suffer during the trip, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Travel Insurance
As personal property, including baggage, and the traveler themselves are at all times solely at their own risk, Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. strongly recommends the purchase of adequate travel insurance. This insurance should cover all risks related to the journey, including trip cancellation, personal injury, loss of luggage, medical emergencies, and other potential travel disruptions.
Force Majeure and Liability
Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. shall not be held responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these terms due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, strikes, government actions, pandemics, or other similar events.
In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to minimize the impact on the traveler but will not be liable for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from such events.
Group Tour Conditions
For travelers opting for group tours, the following additional terms apply:
- Minimum Participation Requirement:
If the minimum required number of participants for a group tour is not met, Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the tour. In such cases, affected travelers will be notified, and options for alternative arrangements or refunds will be provided. - Group Itinerary:
The group itinerary is fixed and cannot be altered. Travelers are required to adhere to the schedule to ensure smooth coordination. - Punctuality:
Travelers must report at the designated meeting points on time. Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. is not responsible for any missed activities or additional costs incurred due to late arrivals.
Payment Methods and Processing
Payments for bookings can be made via the following methods:
- Online transfer
- Credit/Debit card
- Cheque (subject to clearance)
All payments must be completed by the specified deadlines to confirm the booking. A receipt will be provided upon successful payment.
Custom Requests and Special Arrangements
Travelers who wish to request special arrangements, such as dietary preferences, wheelchair assistance, or additional accommodations, must inform Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. at the time of booking. While we will make every effort to accommodate such requests, they are subject to availability and feasibility. Additional costs may apply.
Traveler Conduct
Travelers are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and orderly manner during the tour. Any behavior deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or illegal may result in immediate removal from the tour without a refund.
Additional Notes for International Travelers
- Currency Exchange Rates:
Travelers are advised to account for potential fluctuations in currency exchange rates when budgeting for their trip. - Destination-Specific Guidelines:
Some destinations may have specific cultural, legal, or safety requirements. It is the traveler’s responsibility to familiarize themselves with these guidelines prior to departure.
Use of Photographs and Videos
We may take photographs and videos of travelers participating in our Package Tours for use in our advertising and publicity materials (e.g., brochures). By joining our Package Tours, all travelers are deemed to have consented to the collection and use of such photographs or videos in our promotional materials.
If a traveler wishes to withdraw consent for the collection or use of any photographs or videos featuring them, they may notify us via email at info@amitravel.my. Upon receiving such notice, we will make reasonable efforts to remove references to the traveler from our advertising and publicity materials and related media programs. However, we shall not be held liable for recalling or altering any materials or media programs that have already been produced, publicly distributed, or disseminated prior to receiving such notice.
