Itinerary
Gather at Kuala Lumpur International Airport to depart for Helsinki, Finland. On arrival at Helsinki International Airport, meet the tour guide and board the sightseeing bus to the city. Enjoy the sights around Helsinki before checking into the hotel. Overnight in Helsinki.
After breakfast, start a city tour of Helsinki by visiting Senate Square and White Cathedral, among the city's famous landmarks. Next, visit the Market Square, a busy area with a variety of local stalls. Enjoy the view along the Coastal Streets of Helsinki, then stop for a photography session at the Sibelius Monument, an iconic monument honoring the Finnish composer, Jean Sibelius, created by sculptor Eila Hiltunen. In the evening, take the night train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland, Finland.
On arrival in Rovaniemi, visit Ranua Wildlife Park, home to more than 50 Arctic species, including polar bears, lynx, and reindeer. Spend 2-3 hours exploring this park. Next, visit the Arctic SnowHotel & Glass Igloo to see the amazing ice architecture. Enjoy free time exploring Rovaniemi. At night, join the Northern Lights hunting mission with the tour group leader. Overnight in Rovaniemi.
Start the day by visiting the Santa Claus Village, where you can send a postcard from the Santa Post Office, complete with an official Arctic Circle stamp. Receive an Arctic Circle Certificate as a souvenir. Take a memorable photo with Santa Claus (own expense). Visit the Natural Horse Farm, then experience the thrill of a 500m husky dog sled ride at the Husky Park. Next, experience reindeer herding culture at Raitola Reindeer Farm, where a Sami guide will explain the Sami tradition of reindeer herding. Enjoy a reindeer sleigh ride before continuing on to the Museum Arktikum, which showcases the history, culture, and environment of the Arctic region. Overnight in Rovaniemi.
After breakfast, check out and depart for Kiruna, Sweden, to board the train to Narvik, Norway, at 3:30pm (schedule subject to change). This railway line was originally built to transport iron ore from Kiruna to Narvik, and offers stunning views of the Arctic. On arrival in Narvik, take a gondola to Narvikfjellet to enjoy the city panorama, which is also the best location for Northern Lights hunting missions. Overnight in Narvik.
Check out and enjoy a beautiful land trip across the Norwegian fjords to Tromsø, the largest city in Northern Norway. Visit the Polar Museum (entrance ticket included), featuring exhibits about the Arctic Svalbard Islands, a 5-screen panoramic cinema, an Arctic walking trail, and a pool housing bearded seals. Take the cable car to Storsteinen Mountain to enjoy the beautiful view of Tromsø. At night, join another Northern Light hunting mission. Overnight in Tromsø.
After breakfast, check out and board a morning flight with Widerøe Airlines from Tromsø to Bergen at 11:00 am. On arrival in Bergen, visit Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its colorful wooden buildings. Next, visit the Bergen Fish Market to experience the local seafood culture. Take the funicular up Mount Fløyen, which offers panoramic views of Bergen. Overnight in Bergen.
After breakfast, embark on a Fjord Safari adventure with a 2-hour boat ride across Norway's iconic fjord. Afterwards, head to Flåm Train Station and experience the Flåm Railway, one of the most scenic train journeys in the world, with a stop at the Kjosfossen Waterfall. Next, continue your journey to Myrdal Station, before visiting Stegastein Viewpoint for a spectacular view of the fjord. Overnight at Geilo.
After breakfast, check out and depart for Oslo, the capital of Norway. Visit Vigeland Sculpture Park, which houses over 200 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland. Next, visit the Viking Ship Museum (ticket included), which displays preserved Viking ships and historical artifacts. Stop at the Islamic Center of Oslo, before exploring Aker Brygge, a lively waterfront area with restaurants, shops, and cultural attractions. Enjoy free time exploring Oslo. Overnight in Oslo.
After breakfast, check out and visit Akershus Fortress, a medieval castle that offers a beautiful view of Oslo harbor. Then, depart for Oslo International Airport for the return flight to Malaysia.
