Itinerary
After breakfast at the hotel, the group will enjoy a Sigiriya Village Tour, where they will experience traditional village life. They will travel in a tuk-tuk, take an oxen cart ride through the village, enjoy a catamaran ride over a reservoir, observe local wildlife, and participate in a cooking lesson with a villager. There will also be an optional Sigiriya Rock Climb for a photo stop. Later, the group will depart for Kandy, making an en-route visit to Matale Spice Garden. After lunch, they will enjoy a Cultural Dance Performance before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Kandy.
After breakfast, the group will depart for Nuwara Eliya, with a 2.5-hour drive. On the way, they will stop at Ramboda Water Falls for a photo opportunity and visit a Tea Plantation and Tea Factory to learn about the tea-making process. Afterward, the group will head to Nuwara Eliya for a city tour, with lunch at an outside restaurant. They will then check in to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
After breakfast, the group will depart for Katharagama via Ella (4-hour drive). They will embark on the famous Sri Lankan train journey to Ella, which departs at 11:21 AM and arrives at 2:30 PM. Upon arrival in Ella, they will trek to see the 09 Arches Bridge, one of the main highlights. The group will then depart for Yala, with a stop at Rawana Water Falls and Ravana Cave Temple before visiting Katharagama. Dinner and an overnight stay will be in Katharagama.
In the early morning, the group will head for a Yala Jeep Safari. Afterward, they will return to the hotel for breakfast and then transfer to Galle, making an en-route stop at Weligama for a photo stop at the Stilt Fishermen. Upon arrival in Galle, the group will enjoy a city tour, followed by travel to Colombo, where they will proceed on a city and shopping tour. The group will also visit the Red Mosque in Colombo. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at the hotel in Colombo.
After breakfast at the hotel, the group will check out and transfer to the airport for their flight back to Kuala Lumpur.
