Itinerary
The journey begins with gathering at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) for the exciting flight to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. Once there, the group explores Poi Kalan Complex, an architectural masterpiece that features Kalan Mosque, Kalan Tower, and Miri Arab Madrasah, each of which reflects the majesty of Islamic architecture. The first day ends with a comfortable stay in the city of Tashkent.
The adventure continues with a domestic flight from Tashkent to Bukhara, one of the historic cities in Central Asia. Throughout the day, the group will explore Ark Bukhara, an ancient royal fortress built in the 5th century, featuring an impressive palace, a bustling market, and the sacred Arslan Khan Mosque. Overnight stay in the enchanting city of Bukhara.
This day is dedicated to delving into the rich history of Bukhara, starting with a visit to the Bahauddin Naqshband Complex, a sacred tomb from the 14th century. The visit continues to Samanid Tomb, Chashma Nabi Ayub, Bolo Haouz Mosque, as well as the fascinating Lyabi-Khauz Complex. One of the cultural highlights of the day is learning the art of traditional pilaf preparation. Exploration continues to the Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa Palace, the beautiful summer residence of the Emir of Bukhara, followed by a visit to the Chor Bakr Memorial Complex. Tonight the group will spend the night in Bukhara.
The journey continues to Gijduvan, where the group visits the Sekolah Seramik which is famous for the fine art of Gijduvan Ceramics. Here, guests have the opportunity to experience first-hand the art of shish kebab making, enriching their culinary knowledge. The day ends with a trip to the historic city of Samarkand, where you will stay for the night.
A full day of exploration in the city of Samarkand begins with a visit to the Registan Square, which features a stunning view of the Ulugh Beg Madrasah, the Sher-Dor Madrasah, and the Tilya-Kori Madrasah. The tour continues to the Shaybanids Tomb, followed by a visit to the Shah-i-Zinda Complex, which houses beautifully decorated tombs. Next, the group will admire the greatness of Bibi-Khanym Mosque, which was once one of the largest mosques in the world. The experience at Bazaar Siab provides an opportunity to experience the local culture. Other activities include an interactive session on traditional bread making before an overnight stay in Samarkand.
The group will take the train from Samarkand back to Tashkent. Exploration continues with a visit to Kemmerdekaan Square, Amir Timur Square, and Tashkent Metro which is famous for its artistic design. At Chorsu Bazaar, tourists have the opportunity to see handicrafts and local food. Among the other main attractions are Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam Square, where the world's oldest Quranic manuscript is located which is believed to belong to Saidina Uthman Bin Affan. The last night in Tashkent leaves room for shopping and exploring the local culture.
The final tour takes the group to the Chimgan Mountains, offering breathtaking views of nature, followed by a visit to Charvak Lake, a beautiful location that promises a tranquil atmosphere. The journey continues with a cable chair ride to Beldersay Peak, which offers an incredible panorama at a height of 3309m. After the adventure, the group boarded a flight back to Kuala Lumpur.
The journey ends with arrival at KLIA, marking the end of an amazing exploration of Uzbekistan, full of unforgettable historical and cultural experiences.
