Itinerary
The adventure begins at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), where travelers gather four hours before departure. The excitement builds as each participant checks in, completes flight arrangements, and prepares for the long haul flight. The group boarded the plane, ready to embark on an 11-day journey across Europe full of cultural, historical, and natural beauty. The first flight includes a transit in Doha, Qatar, where travelers can stretch their legs and explore the airport's luxurious facilities before continuing on to their destination.
After a short transit in Doha, the group arrived in Milan, Italy, the fashion capital of the world. Once there, they were greeted by a local tour guide who assisted with transfers to Venice, a city known for its romantic canals, historic architecture, and artistic heritage. The 3.5 hour journey to Venice offers beautiful views of the Italian countryside. In Venice, the group embarked on the Venice Walking Tour, the highlight of the day. The tour starts at theBasilica of St. Mark, an example of Italo-Byzantine architecture decorated with golden mosaics and intricate designs. Nearby is the Doge's Palace, a masterpiece of Venetian Gothic architecture that was once the residence of the Doge of Venice. Tourists also visit Bridge of Sighs, a historic limestone bridge that connects the palace to the New Prison. According to legend, this bridge got its name from the complaints of prisoners who saw the last sight of Venice before being imprisoned.
After the tour, tourists are given free time to explore the area around the Basilica of St. Mark, one of the most iconic landmarks in Venice. Today's final destination is Počitelj, a historic fortress town located on the banks of the Neretva River. Today is dedicated to exploring the beauty of Sarajevo, starting with a walking tour of the Old Town (Baščaršija). The group also visited Lake Pliva, a quiet area with natural greenery, as well as Mlinčići Waterwheel, a traditional wooden waterwheel that is a symbol of Bosnia's rural heritage. Today's final destination is Una National Park, Bosnia's largest national park established in 2008. The park is known for its clear rivers, emerald-colored water, and impressive waterfalls, including the spectacular Štrbački Buk Waterfall.
