11D8N Egypt & Overnight Nile Cruise

The journey begins with departure from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), where you will gather with the group for check-in. Your flight to Cairo will stop in Abu Dhabi before continuing to the Egyptian capital.

On arrival at Cairo International Airport early in the morning, you will be greeted and helped to board the bus to Alexandria for 3 hours. Here, you will explore the city with a visit to the Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque, a famous Sufi site, followed by a photo stop at the Qaitbay Fort, located on the site of the ancient Alexandria Lighthouse. Next, enjoy a leisurely lunch before checking into the hotel to rest. Dinner will be served at the hotel to close your day.

The day begins with a half-day tour of Alexandria, including the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a modern version of the ancient library, and the lush Montazah Palace Gardens. You will also stop for shopping at the local market. After lunch, the journey continues to Cairo, where you will check into the hotel to rest before enjoying dinner in the evening.

Today, explore Cairo's iconic sites. Start with the amazing Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx, followed by a visit to the Egyptian Civilization Museum, which houses the Royal Mummy Room. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the Amr Ibn Al-As Mosque, the oldest in Egypt. Your tour ends with a shopping experience at Khan El Khalili Market. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant.

Start your day with a visit to Salahuddin Fort and Alabaster Mosque, followed by a visit to Al-Azhar Mosque & University. After lunch, you will have time to shop at Hussein Market and local malls. In the evening, transfer to Giza Railway Station to board the sleeper train to Aswan, where you will enjoy a private cabin for a comfortable journey.

Arrive in Aswan early in the morning and enjoy a delicious breakfast before visiting the Philae Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Isis, and the famous Unfinished Obelisk. Next, check in for a luxurious Nile River Cruise, enjoying lunch on board. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic Felucca cruise around the Aswan islands. Your day will conclude with dinner and an overnight stay on the cruise ship.

For those who prefer an exciting tour, today is an opportunity to visit Abu Simbel (at an additional cost). The rest of the group will continue sailing to Kom Ombo, where you will explore the Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus. After lunch on board, the cruise continues to Edfu, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night on board.

At Edfu, visit the stunning Temple of Horus, one of the best preserved temples in Egypt. Next, sail to Luxor, enjoy lunch on board. On arrival, explore Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt, followed by a visit to Luxor Temple. After a day full of ancient wonders, dinner will be served on board, and you will spend the night on board.

This morning, travel to the West Bank of Luxor to explore the Valley of the Kings, where you may choose to visit the Tomb of Tutankhamun (extra cost). Then, admire the monumental Temple of Hatshepsut and stop for a photo at the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, transfer to Luxor Airport for flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will have time to shop at Cairo Mall, followed by dinner at the hotel.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, today is the time to relax and prepare the luggage for the journey home. Then, transfer to Cairo International Airport for the 2:40pm flight back to Kuala Lumpur.

You will arrive at KLIA at 8:25am, completing an enriching Egyptian adventure.
