Your journey begins when you gather at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) for your overnight flight to Budapest, Hungary. Once on board, enjoy the in-flight service, relax, and prepare for the experience that awaits in Central and Eastern Europe.
On arrival in Budapest at 9:35am, you will be greeted and taken for a city tour. The tour begins at Buda Castle, a historic royal palace that offers stunning views of the Danube River and houses the Hungarian National Gallery. Next, visit Bengteng Nelayan, a neo-Gothic terrace with towers that look like fairy castles that provide a panoramic view of the city. Continue to Heroes Square, an important landmark featuring statues of Hungarian national leaders as well as the iconic Millennium Monument. After enjoying a halal lunch at a local restaurant, check in to the hotel and relax. The afternoon is free time to explore Budapest at your leisure. Overnight in Budapest.
Start the day by visiting the Parliament Building, a magnificent piece of architecture known for its impressive facade and intricate interior decoration. Next, stop at Shoes on the Danube, a touching memorial to the Jewish victims of World War II. Depart early at 8:00am for Sibiu, Romania, with a six-hour overland journey through the beautiful scenery of Hungary and Romania. Once there, experience the medieval charm of Sibiu's Old Town, known for its preserved Saxon architecture and cobbled streets. Visit Brukenthal Palace, a baroque building that houses one of the oldest museums in Romania with an impressive collection of European art. Explore Datan Besar and Datan Kecil, both surrounded by historic buildings, cafes, and local craft shops. After a meaningful day, check into the hotel and enjoy some relaxing time. After breakfast, depart at 8:00 am for Bucharest, the capital of Romania on a five-hour journey.
