Itinerary
On arrival at Hanoi International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by a tour guide representative who will help you to drop you off at the hotel. After checking into the accommodation, you will be given free time to relax after the trip or explore the Vietnamese capital at your own pace. Hanoi, with its rich history, charming streets, and French colonial architecture, is a city where old traditions and modernity merge effortlessly. You can take a leisurely stroll around the Old Quarter, where the narrow streets are lined with street vendors selling delicious local food and handmade crafts. Alternatively, you can enjoy the tranquility of Hoan Kiem Lake or explore one of the temples and pagodas scattered throughout the city. Afterwards, return to the hotel for a refreshing night in Hanoi.
Your day starts early, with pickup from the hotel lobby at 5:45am. At 6:00am, you will board a comfortable bus to the mountain city of Sapa, located in the northwestern region of Vietnam. Sapa is known for its stunning rice terraces, green valleys, and vibrant ethnic culture. Along the way, you will be treated to beautiful views of the rolling hills and charming landscapes of northern Vietnam.
On arrival at Sapa, you will check into the hotel and then enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch, where you can try local dishes such as pho or bun cha. In the evening, start the journey to Kampung Cat Cat, a beautiful settlement that is home to the Black H'Mong ethnic group. While walking down the valley, you will come across a stunning waterfall that adds to the natural beauty of the area. This trip provides an opportunity to interact with the local people, see their traditional lifestyle, and understand their customs. Afterwards, return to town for a leisurely dinner before returning to your hotel for the night.
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, and then prepare for an exciting adventure to Mount Fansipan, known as the “Roof of Indochina.” After breakfast, you will be picked up at 8:30am and taken to Fansipan Cable Car Station. The cable car ride to the top of Fansipan offers stunning views of the surrounding valleys, forests, and mountain peaks. At the top, visit the pagoda and make a challenging but rewarding climb of 600 steps to reach the top which offers a panoramic view of the entire area.
After exploring the top, descend back to the base and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Sapa town. You will be given free time to relax or explore the city before checking out from the hotel at 2:30pm. At 3:00 pm, take the bus back to Hanoi. Upon arrival, sent to the hotel for the night.
After an early breakfast at the hotel, prepare for a day trip to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its emerald waters and towering limestone karst. You will be picked up from the hotel at 7:30am and enjoy a scenic drive to the beach. Upon arrival at the bay, board a luxury cruise ship that will take you through the famous formations Fighting Rooster Island, Duck Island, Swan Island, Incense Burner, and Stone Dog. These incredible limestone peaks rise from the water, creating a surreal and tranquil landscape perfect for photography.
While sailing through the bay, you will be served a delicious seafood lunch on board, surrounded by stunning scenery. In the evening, visit Thien Cung Cave, famous for its majestic stalactites and stalagmites. This cave is one of the most beautiful in Halong Bay, and the amazing formations will leave you spellbound. Afterwards, visit Ba Hang Floating Village by bamboo canoe or canoe. This village provides a unique opportunity to witness the daily life of fishermen who live and work on the water. After exploring the area, you will return to Hanoi by bus, where you can relax and enjoy an overnight stay at a hotel.
After breakfast, you will embark on an exciting tour of Ninh Binh, a province known for its stunning limestone landscape and beautiful countryside. Departing at 7:00am, you will first visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam, which was the political and cultural center of the country from 968 to 1010. The historic temples in this area are dedicated to two kings from the Dinh and Le dynasties, and you will learn about the rich history of the area.
Next, take a leisurely canoe ride along the Ngo Dong River in Tam Coc, which is often referred to as "Halong Bay on the mainland." While sailing on the river, you will pass through limestone caves and enjoy the quiet beauty of the countryside surrounded by rice paddies and towering limestone cliffs. After a delicious lunch, head to Gua Mua, where you will climb 500 steps to the top of Lying Dragon Mountain. The view from the top is spectacular, offering a panoramic view of the valley below, filled with rice paddies, rivers, and limestone peaks.
After a day full of activities, return to Hanoi for an overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to the airport for the flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, you will be greeted by a local tour guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy the rest of your day freely. You can visit Siem Reap's lively markets, where you can buy handicrafts, souvenirs, and local products, or simply relax at the hotel before getting ready for the next adventure. Overnight in Siem Reap.
After breakfast, depart from the hotel at 8:00am for a full day tour of Angkor Temple, one of the most important archaeological sites in Southeast Asia. Start by visiting Banteay Srei, known as the Queen's Palace. The temple is famous for its intricate carvings on pink sandstone, depicting scenes from Hindu mythology. Next, explore Beng Mealea, a temple that has been largely taken over by the jungle, creating a mystical atmosphere as you walk through the ruins.
After a delicious lunch, visit the Roluos Group, comprising some of the oldest temples in the Angkor area, dating back to the 9th century. The temples here are less crowded than the more famous Angkor Wat, but are equally impressive in their architectural grandeur.
In the evening, enjoy a sunset boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. As you float through the floating village, you can enjoy the calm beauty of the lake as the sun sets on the horizon, casting a golden glow over the landscape. After the boat trip, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Siem Reap.
