A spiritual stop is made at the stunning Padang Raya Mosque, an architectural marvel that combines Minangkabau design with Islamic elements. The tour then continues to Air Manis Beach, which is the location of the legendary Batu Malin Kundang, a rock formation said to be a rebellious child who was sworn to stone. Lunch is enjoyed at the Lamun Ombak Restaurant, which is famous for its authentic Minangkabau dishes.
In the afternoon, the cultural experience continues with a visit to the Minangkabau Village (PDIKM), where guests can learn about the rich traditions and unique matrilineal culture of the Minangkabau community. The tour also includes a shopping stop at Minang Kayo Souvenir Shop, which is famous for its high quality leather goods and handicrafts. Inside this valley lies Kampung Sarosah, a beautiful and peaceful cultural village, perfect for taking photos and relaxing.
Next, guests will stop at Industri Rumah Kiniko, a local enterprise that produces traditional Minangkabau snacks such as smoked bananas and freshly ground local coffee. A hearty lunch awaits at the Flora Hut Restaurant, located in the middle of rice fields and famous for its fresh grilled fish cooked using charcoal.
In the afternoon, history comes alive with a visit to the magnificent Pagaruyung Palace, a grand replica of the royal palace of the former Minangkabau kingdom, complete with dramatic Minang architecture and intricate interior decoration.
