Itinerary

Day 1
MadridZaragoza

The trip starts from the capital of Spain, Madrid, visiting the Cibeles Fountain, Plaza Mayor, Piazza di Spagna, and the Royal Palace of Madrid which show off the grandeur of the Spanish empire of the past. In Puerta del Sol, you will find the tile Km 0, marking the center of the Spanish motorway chain. Next, head to Zaragoza to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, the world's first church dedicated to the Virgin Mary, while enjoying the atmosphere of the surrounding cafes and restaurants.

Royal Palace of Madrid (without guide) – €14

Move towards the beautiful coastal city, Barcelona. The tour begins at the Columbus Monument and Las Ramblas, before being amazed by the architectural beauty of the Sagrada Família, the unique work of the famous architect Antoni Gaudí. Then, make photo stops at Camp Nou, the iconic stadium of FC Barcelona, and Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, site of the 1992 Olympic Games. The day ends with free time at Plaza Catalonia for shopping or relaxing.

After breakfast, depart for Valencia, the third largest city in Spain. Explore the Plaza of the City Hall, the Ancient City Gates, and the Valencia Cathedral which houses the real Holy Grail. Then, make a photo stop at Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, the center of modern arts and sciences before continuing on to Alicante for the night.

Depart for Granada, a historic city in the Andalusia region that was once the last stronghold of the Arab kingdom in Spain. Visit theAlhambra, a Moorish palace and fortress known as the “Red Palace” with stunning Islamic architecture. Finish the day with a walk at Santa Cruz, Torre del Oro, Maria Luisa Park, and the beautiful Plaza de España.

Travel back to Madrid via Toledo, a UNESCO-recognized historic hilltop city. See the Alcázar of Toledo and the Toledo Cathedral while enjoying views of the Tagus River. Finish the trip by relaxing and enjoying the natural panorama of Spain before arriving back in Madrid.
