Itinerary
The group visits significant landmarks such as the Mausoleum Atatürk, a complex dedicated to showcasing the history, personal belongings, and the tomb of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. They also visit Hacı Bayram Square, a famous square home to the Hacı Bayram Mosque and the nearby Temple of Augustus, a remnant of Roman times. Additionally, the group explores Salt Lake, known as Tuz Gölü, the second-largest lake in Turkey and one of the world’s largest hypersaline lakes. After the tour, the group heads to Cappadocia for an overnight stay.
The tour continues in Cappadocia, where the group visits Goreme Valley, Pigeon Valley, and Devrent Valley, famous for their stunning landscapes and unique rock formations. The group then experiences a visit to the Underground City, once home to up to 15,000 people who sought refuge from enemies. They also visit Uchisar Castle, a rock-hewn settlement and fortress dating back to the 12th century. In addition, the group learns about traditional Turkish carpet weaving at a Carpet Factory, and sees pottery making at the Avanos Pottery & Art Center and gemstone processing at the Turquoise & Onyx Handmade Store. The day ends with another overnight stay in Cappadocia.
The tour takes the group from Cappadocia to Konya, where they visit the Mevlana Museum, dedicated to the history of Islamic Sufism and the famous Whirling Dervishes. They also explore the Sultan's Ottoman artifacts. Afterward, they head to Pamukkale for an overnight stay.
The group tours Pamukkale, starting with the ancient Hierapolis City, a historic Greek city dating back to the 2nd century BC. The site includes well-preserved structures such as the Frontinus Gate, Great Baths, Theatre, Temple of Apollo, and Cleopatra’s Pool, known for its naturally warm waters. They also visit Cotton Castle, natural terraces formed by hot spring pools that resemble cotton, where the group can soak their feet. Afterward, shopping at the Cotton Textile Factory Outlet concludes the day. The group then travels to Bursa for an overnight stay.
The group visits the historic Ulu Camii Mosque, which has stood for over 600 years, and Koza Han, a historical market famous for silk trading since 1491. After shopping for Turkish delights and traditional cooking items at the Turkish Delight & Oil Shop, they visit the impressive Camlica Mosque, the largest mosque in Turkey, completed in 2019, with a capacity to hold 63,000 worshippers. They end the day with an overnight stay in Istanbul.
Visit to Topkapi Palace, home to the Ottoman sultans, featuring the First Courtyard overlooking the Sea of Marmara. The group then explores Hagia Sophia, a former church turned mosque, and later museum, and Hippodrome, the ancient site of chariot races in Byzantine times. They also visit the iconic Blue Mosque, completed in 1616, known for its six minarets and five large domes. The day includes shopping for leather goods at a Leather Shop Outlet and at the world-famous Grand Bazaar, which has been operational since 1455. The group ends the day with an overnight stay in Istanbul.
The group embarks on a private Bosphorus Cruise Tour, sailing through the Bosphorus Strait to view historical landmarks on both the European and Asian sides, such as Rumelihisari, a fort built in 1452 during Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror’s campaign to capture Constantinople, Anadoluhisari, a fortress dating back to 1393, the administrative offices of the Ottoman Empire, Dolmabahce Palace built in 1856 by Sultan Abdülmecid I, and Ortakoy Mosque, located by the Bosphorus since 1854. The tour also includes a visit to the Spice Bazaar, a market famous for spices and traditional Turkish delights since 1660. The day concludes with a flight to Kuala Lumpur.
The group arrives at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) for the return journey home.
