Itinerary
The group departs from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to Cairo, Egypt. Upon arrival, they will be greeted by their guide and transferred to their hotel. After check-in, the evening will be free, and the group will enjoy a delightful dinner at the hotel. This marks the beginning of their exciting journey through Egypt.
After breakfast, the tour begins with a visit to the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, two of the most iconic landmarks in Egypt. The Pyramids of Giza, including the Great Pyramid of Khufu, are one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The Sphinx, a massive limestone statue with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, is a symbol of ancient Egyptian power. After exploring these marvels, the group will head to a perfume factory to learn about the art of traditional perfume making. Next, they will visit a papyrus factory to see how ancient papyrus was made and its historical significance. Dinner will be enjoyed at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel for the night.
On Day 3, the group travels to Alexandria, located on the Mediterranean coast. First, they will visit the Citadel of Sultan Qaitbay, a fortress built in the 15th century on the site of the ancient Pharos Lighthouse. The group will then explore the Montaza Garden, a beautifully landscaped royal garden, and the Alexandria Library, one of the largest and most famous libraries in the world. The next stop is Al Morsy Abu al Abas Mosque, known for its stunning architecture, and Maqam Nabi Daniel, the purported tomb of the prophet Daniel. After a seafood lunch in Alexandria, the group will return to Cairo for dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, the group will visit Fayoum City, known for its beautiful natural landscapes and rich history. They will tour Qaroun Lake, the largest natural lake in Egypt, which is home to diverse wildlife and offers picturesque views. After lunch, the group will enjoy some leisure time for souvenir shopping at Hard Rock Café, a popular spot for unique gifts. Dinner will be at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel to rest for the night.
The day starts with a visit to the Citadel of Sultan Salahuddin Al Ayubi, a historic Islamic structure that offers panoramic views of Cairo. The group will then explore Masjid Al Azhar, one of the oldest and most influential universities in the world, followed by a visit to University Al Azhar, a renowned center of Islamic learning. Masjid Sayidina Al Hussein is next, a mosque believed to house the head of the Prophet Muhammad’s grandson. The day concludes with a visit to the Bazaar Khan El Khalili, a famous market known for its vibrant atmosphere and local handicrafts. Lunch and dinner will be served at local restaurants.
After breakfast, the group will visit the Egyptian Museum, the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East. It houses an extensive collection of Pharaonic antiquities, including the treasures of Tutankhamun. The group will also visit Maqam Imam Shafie’ and Masjid Amr ibn al-As, two important religious sites in Cairo. After lunch, the group will prepare for departure, with a transfer to the airport for their flight back to Kuala Lumpur.
The tour concludes with the group arriving in Kuala Lumpur. The itinerary ends, and they will return home with unforgettable memories of their journey through Egypt.
