Itinerary
The journey begins when the group gathers at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to board a flight to Narita International Airport, Japan. Upon arrival, the tour begins with a scenic drive to the charming town of Kawagoe, which is also known as "Little Edo" because of its preserved Edo era atmosphere. In Kurazukuri no Machinami, participants will walk through a historic area filled with warehouse-style shop buildings from the 19th century, evoking the atmosphere of old Japan. A must-see icon is the Clock Tower (Toki no Kane), an elegant wooden clock tower that still chimes the time. Sweets lovers will be thrilled at Lorong Manisan (Kashiya Yokocho), a nostalgic shopping alley offering a variety of traditional Japanese snacks and sweets. After a leisurely shopping session, the group will offer prayers at Farooq-e-Azam Mosque, a local mosque serving the Muslim community. The journey continues to Oshino, a peaceful village nestled between Lake Yamanaka and Mount Fuji. Here, tourists will explore Oshino Hakkai, eight clear pools that originate from the snow liquid of Mount Fuji. Surrounded by traditional thatched houses, this area offers a breathtaking view of the mountains. The first day ends with a stay in the Fuji area, where guests can rest and prepare for the following days.
After breakfast, the group will enjoy a relaxing day with optional activities. For fans of snow and adventurous activities, a visit to Fujiten Snow Resort provides the opportunity to try winter sports such as skiing, snowboarding, or playing in the snow against the backdrop of Mt.Fuji. For those who are more fond of shopping, the destination of choice is Gotemba Premium Outlet, one of the largest shopping centers in Japan. With over 200 international and local brand stores, visitors can enjoy duty-free shopping for luxury goods, fashion, cosmetics and more. Prayer times will also be allocated at the mosque near the shopping complex. By evening, the group will return to the Fuji area for a comfortable overnight stay.
The day begins with a visit to Lake Kawaguchi, one of the Five Fuji Lakes known for its spectacular reflection of Mount Fuji when the weather is calm. Guests will explore Iyashi no Sato Nemba, an open-air museum and traditional Japanese village rebuilt after a landslide in 1966. Against a backdrop of beautiful lakes and mountains, visitors can walk through thatched houses, participate in handicraft workshops, and try on traditional clothing such as samurai clothes or kimono, perfect for taking photos. After this cultural session, the group will stop at the nearby Fujikawaguchi Mosque to pray, which is also a place of worship for the Muslim community in this beautiful area. The afternoon is spent in the Fuji area, enjoying local hospitality and preparing for the trip to Tokyo the next day.
After breakfast, the group will depart for Kawazu, famous for its early season cherry blossoms. Visitors will enjoy the beauty of the Kawazu Sakura Festival which is held every year along the Kawazu River. The combination of pink flowers with calm river water creates a magical atmosphere perfect for taking pictures and taking a leisurely walk. After enjoying this view, the journey continues to Yokohama to visit the Yokohama Mosque, the main Islamic center in the city, to pray. Late in the evening, the group moved to the metropolitan city of Tokyo, checked into the hotel and rested for the next day's urban adventure.
Using a Tokyo Subway Pass, participants will embark on a day of independent exploration in iconic areas around Tokyo. The first destination is the historic area of Asakusa, which is home to the Kaminarimon Gate and Sensoji Temple, the oldest Buddhist temple in Tokyo. Along Nakamise Shopping Lane, visitors can purchase traditional handicrafts, souvenirs and delicious Japanese street food. The journey continues to Ueno Park, a vast green park that also houses the historic Ueno Toshogu Temple, dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu. After sightseeing, the group will pray at Okamachi Mosque, a Muslim-friendly place of worship in Tokyo. The day ends with a shopping and sightseeing session in Shibuya, seeing the famous Shibuya Crossing, exploring fashion boutiques, and enjoying Tokyo's nightlife before returning to the hotel.
The last day in Japan is for free activities and exploring places you haven't visited yet. Guests can return to Asakusa to rent kimono and take pictures on the historic streets, do more shopping in Shibuya, or visit landmarks such as the Tokyo Skytree, one of the tallest buildings in the world offering stunning views of the city. Other options include a visit to Tsukiji Fish Market, a haven for seafood and Japanese cuisine lovers. In the afternoon, the group will gather and depart to Narita International Airport for the return flight to Kuala Lumpur, with wonderful memories that will never be forgotten.
The group safely arrived back in Kuala Lumpur, marking the end of a meaningful and enjoyable trip in Japan full of culture, history, natural beauty, and valuable Muslim-friendly experiences.
