5D4N Tajikistan Scenery Tour

Start your journey by crossing the border to meet tour guides and drivers from Tajikistan. Continue to Penjikent, often called the Pompeii of Central Asia. On the way, stop at Sarazm, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed archaeological site dating back to the 4th millennium BC. Next, continue your journey to the mountainous area to explore the breathtaking beauty of the Seven Lakes. Drive to the sixth lake and continue with a two-hour hike to the tranquil seventh lake, Hazorchashma. Spend some time enjoying the peaceful beauty of this lake and take a leisurely walk along its shores before turning back to Penjikent. On the way back, stop at local villages and enjoy lunch at a guesthouse in Kampung Noffin.

After breakfast, depart for Voru Village, one of the most iconic villages in the Zerafshan Valley. Located on the left bank of the Archmaydon River, Voru is known for its unique multi-storey architecture, where the roofs of the houses serve as courtyards for the houses above. Meet local families, experience their hospitality and understand their traditional way of life. Then, continue to Kampung Gazza for dinner and overnight at a guest house.

Depart to Iskanderkul, a triangular lake named after Iskandar Zulkarnain (Alexander the Great). This wonderful trip includes a stop for lunch at Sarvoda. On arrival at Iskanderkul, admire the incredible beauty of the lake and take a short hike to Iskander Falls and the enchanting Snake Lake. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight in a cozy chalet by the lake, surrounded by a peaceful mountain setting.

Leave the mountains and continue your journey to Khujand, an ancient city located on the Syr Darya River in the Fergana Valley. On the way, stop at Istaravshan, founded by Cyrus the Great, to explore its rich cultural heritage. Visit blacksmith workshops, meet skilled carpenters and comb makers, and visit historical landmarks such as Kok Gumbaz Mosque and Hazrat Shoh Mosque. Proceed to Khujand, check into hotel and rest at night.

Start the day with a visit to the Panjshanbe Market, the largest market in Tajikistan, followed by a visit to the Maslihaddin Mosque, Lenin Monument, and Arbob Cultural Palace. Enjoy a traditional lunch at the Anora House Museum, where you can feel the atmosphere of an authentic Tajik home and interact with the friendly hosts. Then, visit the Khujand Atlas Factory, once known as a major producer of silk textiles, to understand its production process and buy beautiful atlas fabric as a souvenir. Afterwards, depart for Tashkent by land for about three hours to end your adventure in Tajikistan.
