Itinerary
Arrive in Chongqing and check into the hotel. Enjoy leisurely time throughout the day to relax after your trip and get ready for an exciting start to your vacation.
Start the day with a visit to the Chongqing Mosque, an important Islamic site in the city. Next, explore Danzishi Old Street, an ancient street lined with traditional shops and food stalls that offer Chongqing's cultural heritage. Then, visit Chongqing Changjiahui, a modern shopping area that reflects the unique combination of old and new. End the afternoon at the Meeting of Two Rivers, where the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers meet, offering stunning views of the city. Return to the hotel for the night.
Visit Ciqikou Ancient Town, a well-preserved town with traditional wooden houses, bustling markets, and local food stalls. Next, explore the Chongqing Great Hall of the People, a magnificent building known for its classical architecture. Experience the uniqueness of the Liziba Railway, where trains slide through buildings, providing stunning views of the city skyline. Stroll the People's Liberation Pedestrian Street, a commercial area filled with shops, restaurants, and entertainment. Explore Hongya Cave, a cliffside complex lined with shops and restaurants, before enjoying the beautiful view from Qiansimen Bridge, one of Chongqing's iconic landmarks. Return to the hotel to rest.
After breakfast, depart for Chengdu, a journey of about 4 hours. Once there, visit Eastern Suburban Memory, a cultural park that offers a mix of historic sites and modern art. Then, head to Jinli Ancient Town, famous for its historic architecture, tea houses, and local crafts. Explore the Global Center, one of the largest buildings in the world that houses shopping, hotels, and entertainment. The tour continues to SKP Tower, a modern shopping destination offering luxury brands and stunning views of the city. Check in to HangCheng Hotel or 4-star equivalent hotel for overnight stay.
Visit the Imperial City Mosque, one of Chengdu's oldest mosques that reflects the city's Islamic history. Next, visit Chengdu Panda Base, a conservation center that houses giant pandas and aims to protect this endangered species. Stroll down Chunxi Street, a bustling shopping area, and explore IFS Mall, famous for its luxury boutiques and giant panda sculpture outside the building. End the trip with a visit to Taikooli, a trendy shopping and dining area before heading to the airport for your flight home.
