Upon arrival at Kuching International Airport, meet and greet by our friendly representative and transfer to Damai Beach Resort for check in.

After breakfast at the resort, check out and head to the Sarawak Cultural Village, also known as the ‘Living Museum’. This village showcases Sarawak’s diverse cultures with seven authentic replicas of ethnic houses, including the Chinese Farm House, Malay Stilted House, and Longhouses of various tribes like the Iban and Bidayuh. While touring, you can see traditional arts and crafts demonstrations, such as beadwork, wood carving, and weaving. Enjoy a 45-minute performance of traditional dances at the village theatre before having lunch. Afterward, explore Kuching City, the capital of Sarawak, known for its blend of colonial architecture, Chinese temples, and cultural landmarks like the Cat Monument and Main Bazaar. Dinner is included, followed by check-in at your selected hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for the Semenggoh Nature Reserve, located 30 minutes away. Enjoy a brief hike through the dipterocarp forest, where you’ll observe orangutans in their natural environment. Unlike a zoo, these orangutans, rescued or orphaned, are being trained to survive in the wild. During feeding time, watch their remarkable behavior as they move through the treetops. A guide will share insights about their emotional traits and survival instincts. Next, visit the Crocodile Farm & Mini Zoo, home to over 1,000 crocodiles, along with other animals such as bear cats, civets, and pythons. After lunch, take a shopping tour in Kuching, where you can purchase unique souvenirs like wood carvings, “Pua Kumbu” textiles, and Sarawak pottery. Visit local centers, including the Sarawak Bird’s Nest Factory. Dinner is provided, and afterward, return to the hotel for the night.

After breakfast at the hotel, head out to visit the Fairy and Wind Caves, located about 50 minutes from Kuching. At the Fairy Cave, climb up to the main chamber, where you’ll be amazed by limestone formations, including one that resembles the Goddess of Mercy and another like an old man. Next, visit the Wind Cave, just 10 minutes away, where you can walk along a platform through a dark tunnel filled with bats and swiftlets. If you’re lucky, you might spot bird nests along the walls. After lunch, enjoy a relaxing Sarawak River Cruise, which offers scenic views of Kuching’s landmarks like the Waterfront, Brooke Dockyard, Fort Margherita, and the Malay Kampung. The cruise also provides a glimpse into the city’s history and diverse lifestyles. Dinner is included, and after, return to the hotel for the night.
