Itinerary
Gather at Terminal 1 of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) for the flight to Beijing, China. Meet your fellow travelers and check in in preparation to embark on this exciting adventure.
The tour in Beijing begins with a visit to Tiananmen Square, a historic square that witnessed many important events including the tragedy of the student demonstration in 1989. Around it there are iconic buildings such as Monument to the People’s Heroes, Great Hall of the People, Gate of Heavenly Peace, Mausoleum of Mao Zedong and National Museum of China. Participants will then be taken to the Forbidden City, a palace complex over 600 years old that was once the residence of Chinese emperors from the Ming Dynasty to the early 20th century, complete with an 8-meter-high wall and a moat surrounding it.
Next, participants will stop at the Nandouya Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Beijing featuring traditional Chinese architecture with an Islamic touch. In the afternoon, participants had the opportunity to witness an amazing performance at the Acrobatic Show which was full of illusions and thrilling stunts. The day closes with the experience of enjoying the beautiful night atmosphere of the Liangma River, where the reflection of neon light creates a romantic and soothing atmosphere. For visits between the months of December to February, participants also have the opportunity to enjoy the experience of playing in the snow at the Ski Resort with additional costs such as ski clothing rental (RM100), ski equipment (RM250), and sleds (optional – RM60).
Participants will begin the tour by visiting the Summer Palace, the largest royal park in China known for its beautiful landscape, vast lake and classical architecture. Once a resting place for the royal family, it is now one of the main attractions in Beijing. Next, participants will pray at Niujie Mosque, the oldest mosque in Beijing built in 996 during the Liao Dynasty, famous for its architecture that combines Islamic carvings and Han tradition.
After that, participants will stop at Herbal Medicine Centre to see traditional treatments based on natural herbs, before shopping for halal items at Muslim Supermarket such as spices, dairy products, bread and various types of nuts. The tour continues to Hongqiao Market, a popular shopping destination offering pearls, silks, gemstones, electronics and souvenirs at negotiable prices. Overnight in Beijing.
Participants have free time to have fun and play with their families at Universal Studios Beijing, a world-class theme park that offers a variety of exciting attractions, interactive shows and exciting games for all ages.
