Itinerary
On arrival at Kuala Namu International Airport, Medan, you will be greeted by a tour guide who will accompany you throughout the tour. After the group photo session, enjoy lunch before continuing to Parapat, which takes about four hours. Along the way, you will pass through Tebing Tinggi, which is known as lemang town, as well as views of palm oil fields and rice paddies. In Siantar, stop at the local souvenir shop (Kedai Paten) to buy delicacies such as teng-teng and pang-pang made from peanuts. On arrival at Parapat, check in to the hotel and enjoy dinner at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Samosir Island by ferry. Visit Tomok to see the tomb of King Sidabutar and continue to Ambarita to explore traditional Batak houses and the old meeting place of Batak kings. Return to Parapat for lunch at a local restaurant. The journey continues to Berastagi, with a stop at Simarjarunjung to enjoy the panoramic view of Lake Toba and try ginger tea and fried bananas (at own expense). Next, visit the spectacular Sipiso-Piso Waterfall, 120 meters high and offering views of Lake Toba from the north. Upon arrival in Berastagi, visit the Berastagi Fruit Market before checking in to the hotel. Dinner will be provided at a local restaurant in Berastagi.
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Gundaling Hill to see active volcanoes, namely Sibayak Mountain and Sinabung Mountain. The journey continues to Medan, which takes about two hours. Upon arrival at Medan, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Visit Istana Maimun, which is the historic royal palace of the Deli Sultanate, and Masjid Raya Al-Mashun which also belongs to the Deli Sultanate. Check in to the hotel and enjoy free time. Dinner will be provided at a local restaurant in Medan.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will enjoy a full day of shopping in Medan. Visit the batik and religious clothing shops, Medan Mall, Pasar Sentral, and Sun Plaza Shopping Mall. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant, followed by free time in the afternoon. Dinner will also be provided at a local restaurant in Medan.
After breakfast at the hotel, you have free time until transfer to the airport for your return flight.
