Itinerary
Upon arrival at Kuala Namu International Airport in Medan, greeted by a guide who will accompany throughout the tour. After a group photo, enjoy lunch before continuing to Parapat. The journey takes approximately 4 hours, passing through Tebing Tinggi, known as the city of lemang, and scenic views of palm oil plantations and rice fields. In Siantar, stop at a local souvenir shop (Paten Shop) to purchase specialties like teng-teng and pang-pang made from peanuts. Upon arrival in Parapat, check in to the hotel and have dinner at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, head to Samosir Island using a ferry. Visit Tomok to see the tomb of King Sidabutar and continue to Ambarita to explore traditional Batak houses and the ancient meeting place of the Batak kings. Return to Parapat for lunch at a local restaurant. Continue the journey to Berastagi, stopping at Simarjarunjung to enjoy the panoramic view of Lake Toba and try ginger tea and fried bananas (at your own expense). Visit the spectacular Sipiso-Piso Waterfall, which drops 120 meters and offers views of Lake Toba from the north. Upon arrival in Berastagi, visit the Berastagi Fruit Market before checking in to the hotel. Dinner will be at a local restaurant in Berastagi.
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Gundaling Hill to see the active volcanoes, Mount Sibayak and Mount Sinabung. The journey continues to Medan, taking approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival in Medan, have lunch at a local restaurant. Visit Maimun Palace, the historic royal palace of the Sultan of Deli, and the Grand Mosque (Al-Mashun Mosque), also belonging to the Sultanate of Deli. Check in to the hotel, followed by free time. Dinner will be at a local restaurant in Medan.
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day of shopping in Medan. Visit batik and prayer garment shops, Medan Mall, Central Market, and Sun Plaza Shopping Mall. Lunch will be at a local restaurant, followed by free time in the evening. Dinner will be at a local restaurant in Medan.
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy free time until it is time to transfer to the airport for your return flight.
