Itinerary
Gather at KLIA to board the flight to Kunming.
Arrive in Kunming, then move to Shilin for hotel check-in. Overnight in Shilin
Tour in Shilin, participants will be taken to the Black Stone Forest which is famous for its unique rock formations formed thousands of years ago. Natural beauty combined with history and culture make it an enchanting location to explore. Next to Chuxiong visit Yi Ancient Town, an ancient town that features the beauty of history, culture and life of the local community. Here visitors have the opportunity to buy traditional handicrafts such as woven cloth, ceramics and wood carvings as souvenirs. Overnight in Chuxiong.
A visit to Dali begins with a visit to Santorini China, a tourist destination inspired by the architecture of Santorini Island in Greece. Here, visitors can enjoy beautiful sea views as well as shop at unique shops suitable for all ages. Next, the group headed to Lijiang to visit Lijiang Ancient Town, Sifang Street, an old town famous for its traditional architecture, cobbled streets, ancient water system and the charming view of Yulong Mountain. Participants will also stroll through Heilongtan Park, which is famous for its beautiful lake and majestic mountain backdrop, making it a popular recreational location. Overnight in Lijiang.
A tour in Lijiang begins with a visit to the Snow Mountain Glacier Park, which is famous for its year-round snowy mountain peaks, pine forests and magnificent views from the gondola. Next, the guests had the opportunity to witness the Impression Lijiang Show, an extraordinary cultural performance involving more than 500 local actors who performed Yunnan ethnic dances, songs and folk tales. The journey continues to White River and Blue Moon Valley, a natural destination with milky white and clear blue water, surrounded by green mountains and beautiful waterfalls that add to its natural charm. Tonight, the guests will spend the night in Lijiang.
A visit to Shangri-la begins with a visit to the Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area, a natural destination that is mesmerizing with majestic mountain views and a rapid river flowing through the mountain crevices, making it the best location to capture memories. The journey continues with a photo stop at Baishuitai Cotton's Fort, located at the foot of Haba Snow Mountain. Its main attraction is the white mineral crystal formations that form a 140–160 meter wide terraced pool, with clear spring water flowing like a small waterfall from the top of the mountain. Tonight, the guests will return and spend the night in Lijiang.
The tour in Dali begins by visiting Xizhou Ancient Town, an old town famous for its traditional Bai ethnic architecture that is still preserved. The buildings are decorated with delicate carvings and cheerful colors, while the local market offers the experience of trying traditional foods such as Xizhou Baba and witnessing a demonstration of Bai batik fabric making. Guests also have the opportunity to visit historic old houses, feel the peaceful atmosphere of the village, and learn about the culture and traditions of the Bai community. The journey continues to Dali Ancient Town, one of Yunnan's most popular destinations protected by the local government from modern development. Here, guests can enjoy a unique combination of experiences between historic architecture, natural beauty and culture. The tour ends with a stop at Erhai Lake, a lake known for its clear water and spectacular views of the Cangshan Mountains. Interesting activities include cycling along the lake, enjoying panoramic sunsets, and visiting traditional villages in the vicinity.
The tour in Kunming begins with a stop at Shuncheng Mosque, a historic mosque built during the Tang Dynasty (618–907 AD), the only dynasty in China that actively spread Islam. The journey continues to West Temple Tower, a three-story pagoda tower from the Tang Dynasty era that features unique architecture and traditional decoration. Next, guests are taken to Jinbi Square, a modern center in Kunming that is a meeting place for locals and visitors. With a characteristic Chinese design, this area often hosts community events, art shows and festivals, making it one of the city's main attractions. The tour continues to Nanqiang Market, which is famous as “Internet Celebrity Night Market”. The area retains its historic architectural style while featuring a mix of entertainment, theater, food and souvenir shops. At night, beautiful lights, enticing snacks and cultural performances make the atmosphere of this market more lively and enchanting. The day closes with an overnight stay in Kunming.
The tour continues with shopping at the New Luosiwan International Wholesale Market, a famous wholesale market that offers a variety of items such as clothing, accessories, handicrafts, furniture and more at affordable prices. Here, visitors can also witness traditional handicrafts while enjoying the busy and lively atmosphere of the market. Next, guests will spend time at Dounan Flower Market, the largest flower market in Asia which is the main attraction in Kunming. The sight of colorful, fragrant and well-arranged rows of fresh flowers provides a soothing and enchanting experience. After that, the group will leave for the airport to board the flight back to Kuala Lumpur.
