9H7M Kunming: Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-La & Yiliang

Gather at KLIA to board the flight to Kunming. Upon arrival in Kunming, proceed to Dali and spend the night there.

The tour starts at Santorini China, a unique attraction inspired by the architecture of Santorini Island that offers beautiful sea views and rows of unique shops. Next to Dali Ancient Town, an old city preserved with a ban on modern construction, allows tourists to enjoy historic architecture, classical atmosphere, and local culture. The tour continues to Foreigner Street, a popular street full of cafes, handicraft shops, restaurants and lively street music. Overnight at Dali.

Activities continue in the Erhai Ecological Corridor, a natural area with cycling paths, panoramic rest stations, and stunning lake views. Then, a visit to Muslim Village for a cultural experience of the Hui community, including a DIY Milk Fan activity and a visit to a traditional mosque. After that, move to Lijiang and spend the night there.

A visit to Snow Mountain Glacier Park which features year-round snowy mountain landscapes, pine forests and majestic ice blocks. Guests can ride the gondola for a view from a height. The journey continues to Blue Moon Valley which is famous for its clear blue milky white water and beautiful landscape surrounded by mountains. In the afternoon, witness the Impression Lijiang Show, a large-scale cultural performance with over 500 local actors. Overnight in Lijiang.

Journey to Shangri-la with a stop at Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the deepest river gorges in the world that offers a breathtaking panorama. Then explore Dukezong Old Town, a 1,300-year-old Tibetan town with ancient wooden houses, handicraft shops, prayer flags and traditional dances. Overnight at Shangri-la.

Visit to Nah Pah Hai Lake, a seasonal high altitude lake surrounded by vast grasslands and snowy mountains. Cycling, horse riding, and local Tibetan cultural experiences are also offered. Then return to Lijiang to take a stroll in Heilongtan Park and enjoy the magnificent panorama of Yulong Mountain. In the afternoon, explore Lijiang Ancient Town and Sifang Street, famous for its old architecture, stone streets and the classic atmosphere of the ancient city. Overnight in Lijiang.

Travel back to Kunming. Stop by for shopping at New Luosiwan International Wholesale Market which offers wholesale goods from clothes to handicrafts. Overnight in Yiliang.

A visit to the Naigu Stone Forest, a unique black karst rock formation with a mesmerizing natural scenery. Return to Kunming to pray at the Shuncheng Mosque and visit the Chongren Muslim Food Street which is famous for local halal dishes. Then to Jinbi Square, the modern city center, before closing the day at Nanqiang Market, a lively night market full of entertainment and local food.

Depart for the airport to board the flight home. Arrived in Kuala Lumpur with wonderful memories from the trip to Yunnan.
