Itinerary
On the first day of the journey, travelers arrive in Almaty and are greeted by a driver who will transfer them to their hotel. After settling in, they have leisure time to explore the city at their own pace, perhaps getting acquainted with its vibrant culture and atmosphere. The evening is spent relaxing and preparing for the adventures ahead, with an overnight stay in Almaty.
Day two begins with a hearty breakfast at a local restaurant, followed by a guided layover tour of Almaty. Highlights include visits to Panfilov Park, Zenkov Cathedral, and a memorial complex dedicated to World War Two. After lunch and hotel check-in, tourists have free time to explore the bustling Green Bazaar, known for its diverse offerings. The day concludes with dinner and another overnight stay in Almaty.
The third day marks the start of an exhilarating jeep tour through the picturesque Mangystau region. After a flight to Aktau, travelers embark on a journey to Torysh, renowned for its fascinating rock formations, and Sherkala, a mountain crowned by ancient fortress ruins. The day continues with accommodation in a guesthouse in Kogez, where dinner is served, offering a chance to unwind amidst the region's natural beauty. Afterwards, we'll go to Ayrakty Shomanay Mountains were named "The Valley of Castles" in the 19th century.
Day four begins with an early breakfast before venturing to Boshzira, a mountainous area celebrated for its unique rock formations. The tour then proceeds to Kyzylkup valley, known locally as Tiramisu Canyon, for its vibrant colors and striking landscapes. The day concludes with dinner and overnight accommodation in Janaozen.
On the fifth day, travelers delve deeper into the Mangystau region, visiting Ybykty Canyon and the Karaman ata Necropolis & Underground Mosque, sites steeped in history and natural wonder. Following a day of exploration, the group returns to Aktau for dinner and overnight rest.
Day six starts with a morning flight back to Almaty, followed by a journey to the breathtaking Charyn Canyon. After a short walk and rest amidst the stunning scenery, the tour continues to Saty village for dinner and accommodation, providing a tranquil retreat surrounded by nature.
On the final day of the tour, travelers enjoy free time until checkout, with visit to President Park and lunch at a local restaurant. The journey concludes with a transfer to the International Airport for the return flight to Kuala Lumpur, marking the end of a memorable adventure in Kazakhstan.
