Itinerary
The tour continues to the city of Chuncheon with a visit to Nami Island, an island famous for filming the popular drama Winter Sonata. The island dazzles with natural scenery that changes with the seasons, making it a favorite destination for tourists. Participants will spend the night in Seoul.
March – November tour
Participants will be taken shopping in the famous downtown areas of Dongdaemun Market and Dongdaemun Design Plaza, which are quite iconic with modern and unique architectural designs. Here, participants have the opportunity to enjoy the lively shopping atmosphere and take photos at this popular location.
December – February Tour
Participants will be taken to the Ski Resort to experience the snow. Here, participants can try various fun winter activities. (Additional cost: ski wear rental ₩15,000 & ski equipment rental ₩35,000).
The third day begins with a cultural immersion at Namsan Hanok Village, where you can reminisce about the past and explore a traditional Korean village. This charming village showcases the country's history and culture, with well-preserved hanok houses, traditional Korean architecture. Walking through the village, you will experience life in the olden days, as well as see Korean customs, handicrafts, and art.
After soaking up Seoul's heritage, you will head to Jeju Island, a tranquil and scenic destination known for its natural wonders and enchanting landscapes. Upon arrival, your first stop is Iho Tewoo Beach, a beautiful beach with golden sand and clear water. The beach offers a peaceful atmosphere where you can relax, walk along the beach, or enjoy the view of the iconic horse statue that adorns the beach. Next, visit Dongmun Market, one of the oldest and liveliest markets in Jeju, where you can buy local products and try a variety of traditional Korean dishes, including fresh seafood, Jeju tangerines, and unique snacks.
Today the tour begins with a hike to Seongsan Ilchulbong Sunrise Peak, a thousand-year-old volcanic cone known as the Sunrise Peak. Next visit Seongeup Folk Village, a traditional village that highlights the unique culture of the Jeju community. The journey continues to Seopjikoji, a famous Korean drama filming location for its charming ocean views and canola fields. Participants will also be taken to Camellia Hill, a beautiful flower garden perfect for photos, as well as O Sulloc Tea Museum to enjoy tea-based dishes. Finally, the participants walked down the Aewol Coastal Road, a coastal route with amazing panoramas. Overnight in Jeju.
After a leisurely breakfast, you will fly back to Seoul. Upon arrival, you will head to Itaewon Street, a multicultural area that is a hub for multi-national cuisine, international shopping, and lively nightlife. Itaewon offers a unique mix of cultures, making it an interesting place to explore. You will also visit the Seoul Central Mosque, the first mosque built in Korea, where you can learn about the Islamic heritage of South Korea and experience the beautiful architecture.
Your shopping adventure continues at the Ginseng Center, where you can buy high-quality Korean ginseng products, known for their health benefits. Don't forget to visit the Red Pine Store, which offers a variety of natural products made from pine trees, including essential oils and lotions. Finally, visit the local Cosmetics Shop, a must-visit for anyone interested in Korean beauty products, known worldwide for their innovative formulas and packaging.
In the evening, explore the bustling streets of Myeongdong Market and Namdaemun Market, two of the most popular shopping areas popular in Seoul. Myeongdong is known for fashion, skin care, and cosmetics, while Namdaemun offers a more traditional shopping experience with a mix of street food, textiles, and local products. For a break from the hustle and bustle of the streets, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Cheonggyecheon River, a restored waterway that flows through the city center, offering tranquility amidst the urban landscape.
After an immersive and unforgettable journey through Seoul and Jeju, it's time to say goodbye to South Korea. You will be transferred to Incheon International Airport for your return flight to Kuala Lumpur (KLIA). When you board the flight, you'll take with you beautiful memories of the landscapes, cultural experiences, and delicious cuisine that make your trip through South Korea truly extraordinary.
