Itinerary
Gather at KLIA for the flight to Kualanamu International Airport. Upon arrival in Medan, participants will continue their land journey to Parapat, the main entrance to Lake Toba. On the way, stop at Pematangsiantar to buy souvenirs such as Teng-Teng and Ting-Ting and enjoy local tea or coffee. Upon arrival in Parapat, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere around Lake Toba, the largest crater lake in the world famous for its natural beauty. Overnight at Parapat.
After breakfast, participants will board a boat to Samosir Island, the cultural center of the Batak community. The tour starts at Tomok Village to witness a traditional Batak dance, see the king's tomb and a traditional house. Next to Ambarita Village to see the stone table and ancient punishment place.
The visit continues to Bukit Simarjarunjung to enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Toba from a height while taking pictures and breathing fresh mountain air. Then, visit Sipiso-Piso Waterfall, a 120-meter high waterfall famous for its stream of water falling straight like a knife blade.
The journey continues to Berastagi, a highland town known for its cool air and agricultural produce. Stop by Berastagi Fruit Market to taste fresh local fruits and the lively atmosphere of the market. Overnight at Berastagi.
After breakfast, enjoy the view of Mount Sinabung, an active volcano that is one of the main attractions in this area. Participants can take pictures at a safe viewpoint while enjoying the cool air and the atmosphere of nature.
Then, leave for Medan for a city tour. The tour includes Istana Maimun, a historic palace built in 1888 by the Sultan of Deli with a unique architecture that combines Malay and foreign influences. Next, visitMasjid Raya Medan, an iconic mosque built in 1906 with a green dome that has become the symbol of the city of Medan. After the tour, check into the hotel and spend the night in Medan.
After breakfast, participants will check out of the hotel and be taken to the airport for the return flight to Kuala Lumpur. End a journey full of wonderful experiences in Medan and Lake Toba.
