A visit to Almaty enjoying the natural and urban beauty, including Shymbulak, Kok Tobe, Charyn Canyon and Kolsai Lake, before returning to Kuala Lumpur with wonderful memories.
Itinerary
Gather at KLIA 1, 3 hours before departure time. Fly to Almaty. Upon arrival at Almaty International Airport, will be greeted and taken directly to the hotel for the check-in process. The rest of the time is to rest and adjust after the long journey before embarking on the next exploration. Overnight at a hotel in Almaty.
After breakfast, the tour begins with a trip to Shymbulak Ski Base. Take the funicular to Talgar Pass at an altitude of around 3,200 meters, where you can enjoy the amazing view of the snow-capped Tian Shan Mountain Range and the fresh mountain air. Next, the visit continues to Rakhat Chocolate Factory, Kazakhstan's famous chocolate brand, to see the production process and buy local products. After dinner, return to the hotel for the night.
After breakfast, the Almaty city tour begins with a visit to the History Museum, followed by the historic Panfilov Park and the Zenkov Cathedral, an iconic wooden church built without nails. The tour continues to the Green Bazaar, a local market famous for fresh produce, spices and traditional products, before a stop at the Arbat area, a lively pedestrian street with souvenir shops and cafes. In the afternoon, go to Kok Tobe Hill to enjoy the panoramic view of Almaty city from the top of the hill. Overnight at the hotel.
Early in the morning, leave for Charyn Canyon, an amazing natural wonder with a depth of up to 200 meters and cliffs 150–300 meters high. The tour continues to Kolsai Lake, known as the "Blue Jewel of the Northern Tien Shan". The clear beauty of the lake surrounded by forests and mountains provides a calm and enchanting atmosphere. After enjoying the beauty of nature, travel back to Almaty for the night.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for the return flight.
Arriving in Kuala Lumpur. End the trip with meaningful memories.
