Itinerary
On arrival at Baku International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representatives. Enjoy the ride to the hotel while enjoying the beautiful panorama of the modern city of Baku, a combination of traditional and futuristic architecture. After check-in, you are free to relax or explore around the city at your leisure.
After breakfast, get ready to explore the beauty of the capital Baku. The tour starts at Highland Park, where you can witness the amazing view of the city of Baku and the Caspian Sea. Continue to the modern landmark Heydar Aliyev Center, designed by the famous architect Zaha Hadid that symbolizes the progress and creativity of Azerbaijan. Then, explore the historic area of Old City (Icherisheher) with a visit to Maiden Tower, Caravanserais, and ancient mosques which showcase the uniqueness of Islamic architecture and the heritage of the past.
Today you will enjoy an exciting adventure to the Gobustan Archaeological Reserve, where there are ancient rock carvings over 10,000 years old that depict early human life. Witness the wonders of nature at Mud Volcanoes, a unique phenomenon rarely seen in the world. The tour continues to the Temple of Fire-Worshipers (Ateshgah), an ancient temple whose sacred fire has burned for centuries, before closing the day with a visit to the Ethnographic Museum Gala, introducing you to the rich history and culture of Azerbaijani society.
After breakfast, depart for the beautiful mountainous region of northwestern Azerbaijan. On the way, stop at Lahij village, famous for its handmade copper crafts and charming classic stone streets. Continue to Tasik Nohur (Lake Nohur) which is serene and surrounded by mountain greenery—a perfect place to take pictures and relax before continuing to Sheki for hotel check-in and overnight.
Enjoy breakfast in Sheki before embarking on a tour of the Sheki Khans Palace, a historic palace with stunning stained glass (shebeke) decorations. Then visit the Albanian Church which is a symbol of cultural and religious harmony in the region. Don't miss the chance to try Sheki Baklava, a traditional sweet known throughout Azerbaijan. Afterwards, head back to Baku for your final stay.
Before heading to the airport, stop at Yashil Bazaar, a local market offering a variety of dry produce, nuts, herbal teas, and traditional Azerbaijani sweets. Enjoy the lively atmosphere of the market before heading home with sweet memories from this land of the Caucasus.
