Arriving at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, participants will be warmly greeted by local representatives before being taken to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy free time to relax or explore around the modern and enchanting city of Baku, known as the “Jewel on the Caspian Sea”.

Breakfast at the hotel before starting the adventure in the capital of Azerbaijan. The tour starts at Highland Park, the best place to enjoy the beautiful panorama of the city and the Caspian Sea. Next, explore Baku Old City (Icherisheher) — a stone-walled city with historic lanes and classical buildings. See the uniqueness of the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, a symbol of ancient power, as well as the Maiden Tower, a mysterious monument that is the main icon of Baku. The day ends with a visit to the Heydar Aliyev Center, a stunning piece of modern architecture designed by Zaha Hadid.

Travel to the beautiful northern region, Guba Khachmaz, known for its natural beauty and unique cultural heritage. Visit to Krasnaya Sloboda, the only active Jewish settlement outside of Israel and the United States. Continue to the mountain village of Khynalyg, one of the highest settlements in the world with stunning views of the Caucasus mountains. Return to Baku in the evening.

After breakfast, head to the resort town of Gabala which is surrounded by mountains and green forests. On the way, stop at Ivanovka Village, a traditional farming village with a peaceful atmosphere and friendly community. Next, a visit to the Nij village, home to the Udi community – one of the oldest tribes in the Caucasus. Enjoy a peaceful night in Gabala.

This morning, the journey continues to the historic city of Sheki, one of the oldest and most interesting cities in Azerbaijan. On the way, stop at the Ilisu village, famous for its natural beauty and the mysterious Sumuggala Fortress stone tomb. Also see Galaja Tower, an ancient tower that stands majestically on top of a hill.

After breakfast, the tour begins at the Palace of Sheki Khans, a beautiful 18th century palace with stunning stained glass art. Next, visit Karavan-Saray, an ancient inn that was once a stopover for silk route merchants. Feel the classic atmosphere of the past before returning to Baku for the night.

After breakfast, participants will be sent to the airport for their return flight. End of a wonderful journey exploring the history, culture and natural beauty of Azerbaijan.
