Explore the history of Islam and the legacy of the Pharaohs in Egypt, climb Jabal Musa, cruise the Nile, as well as the beauty of the oasis and the Red Sea.
Itinerary
Participants gather at Kuala Lumpur International Airport for check-in before departure to Cairo, Egypt. Upon arrival there, was warmly greeted by the local representative and proceeded to the hotel for check-in. In the evening, participants enjoy a special dinner while sailing on a Nile Cruise, witnessing the beautiful scenery of the Nile River which was the heart of ancient Egyptian life.
After breakfast, participants were taken on a tour of one of the wonders of the world — the Pyramid of Giza and the Sphinx, a magnificent structure that is over 4,000 years old. The visit continues to Imam Syafie's Tomb, a respected great scholar, before praying at Amr bin As Mosque, the first mosque built in Egypt. Next, a visit to the Museum Hadari (Royal Mummies) which houses the mummies of real Pharaohs, including Pharaoh Ramses II. After the tour, have dinner at a local restaurant and return to the hotel to rest.
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, participants depart for the famous resort town of Sharm El Sheikh on the Red Sea coast. On the way, stop at Bar Lev Israel Fort, a symbol of the fall of the Israeli army during the Yom Kippur war. Upon arrival in Sharm El Sheikh, participants will stroll through the Old Town area full of shops and a relaxed atmosphere. After that, the journey continues to Dahab, a coastal city known for its beautiful beaches and peaceful atmosphere. Overnight in Dahab.
This morning, participants have the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of Dahab Lagoon, a location famous for its clear blue sea water and the glass boat activity that allows you to see coral reefs from the bottom of the sea. After lunch and shopping activities in Dahab, participants continue their journey to Sinai to spend the night at a hotel near the foot of the mountain.
Early in the morning around 2.00 am, participants climbed Jabal Musa (Mount Sinai), the place where Prophet Moses A.S. received the revelation of God's 10 commandments. From the top of the mountain, participants can enjoy the amazing view of the sunrise. After disembarking, have breakfast at the hotel and prepare to return to Cairo. On the way, stop to visit the Tomb of Prophet Saleh A.S., Prophet Harun A.S., as well as the Samiri Statue. Arrive in Cairo and check into the hotel for the night.
After breakfast, participants depart for Fayoum, a lush oasis in the middle of the Egyptian desert. Visit to Lake Qarun, the largest natural lake in Egypt surrounded by stunning scenery. Then, a visit to Wadi El-Rayan, a nature reserve with a desert waterfall that is rare in the world. Participants can also ride a 4-wheel drive vehicle (optional) to experience the desert. After dinner, return to the hotel in Cairo for the night.
After breakfast, participants depart for Alexandria, a beautiful Mediterranean city. The tour starts at Montaza Palace, the magnificent palace left by King Farouk. Next, pray at Mursi Abu Al-Abbas Mosque, the most beautiful mosque in Alexandria. Then, visit the Qaitbay Sultan Fort, a historic fortress built on the site of the Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the ancient Seven Wonders of the World. Before returning to Cairo, stop at Nabi Daniel's Tomb and Luqmanul Hakim to make a pilgrimage. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Cairo.
After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, the participants stopped at the Al-Azhar Mosque, the oldest center of Islamic knowledge in the world, to pray. Then, shop at Bazar Khan El Khalili, Egypt's most famous traditional market that sells a variety of goods such as spices, perfumes, and souvenirs. After lunch, participants are sent to Cairo International Airport for their flight back to Kuala Lumpur.
Arriving at Kuala Lumpur Airport, bring home beautiful memories and meaningful spiritual experiences from the land of the Prophets.
