Enjoy a visit to Gaomei Wetlands, Sun Moon Lake, Shifen Old Street, Jiufen, Taipei 101 as well as a tea experience and DIY pineapple cake.
Itinerary
Participants will gather at KLIA for the flight to Taipei, before heading to Taichung. The tour starts at Gaomei Wetlands, a beautiful location with rows of windmills and a soothing sunset view, perfect for photography. Next, participants will enjoy the lively atmosphere at Yichung Night Market, a popular night market with a variety of street food, small shops and exciting games. Overnight in Taichung.
The trip continues to Nantou to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Sun Moon Lake by boat while appreciating the beauty of the natural lake surrounded by mountains. Participants also have the opportunity to enjoy a special experience in the Tea Experience, enjoying traditional Taiwanese tea that has been passed down from generation to generation. Overnight in Taipei.
In Taipei, participants will stop at Shifen Old Street, an old town with a traditional atmosphere and a sky lantern lighting experience (optional). Next, explore the unique rock formations at Yehliu Geopark, before enjoying the classic atmosphere at Jiufen, a hilltop village with red lanterns and stunning Japanese architecture. Participants will also participate in a DIY Pineapple Cake workshop to make a traditional Taiwanese pineapple cake. Overnight in Taipei.
The next day is a free day for your own activities, where participants can explore the city of Taipei according to their own taste. Overnight in Taipei.
On the last day, participants will visit the iconic landmark Taipei 101, followed by Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Park, an important historical monument in Taiwan. The tour continues to the Jewelry and Creative Arts Center, which showcases exquisite carvings from jade, crystal and wood. Participants then left for the airport for their return flight to Kuala Lumpur.
