Ancient Egyptian Tour 10h8m: Pyramid, Nile & Alexandria

The journey starts with a flight from KLIA 1 to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and taken to the hotel for check-in. In the evening, enjoy a hearty welcome dinner before resting to prepare for the next adventure.

After breakfast, the tour begins to Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt famous for its giant statue of Ramses II. Next, visit Sakkara which houses the Step Pyramid built by King Djoser - one of the oldest stone structures in the world. After lunch, you will be taken to the Pyramid of Giza, one of the wonders of the ancient world, including the Great Pyramid of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos, and witness the majesty of the Sphinx Statue. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel in Cairo.

After an early breakfast, you will board a domestic flight to Aswan, a city known as the gateway to Nubia. The first visit is to Empangan Tinggi Aswan (Aswan High Dam), a modern engineering project that controls the flow of the Nile. Then, visit the Temple of Philae, a beautiful temple that was moved to Agilkia Island to save it from sinking, and see the Unfinished Obelisk – a giant granite monument left over from the time of the Pharaohs. After lunch, you will board a luxury Nile Cruise, where dinner is served while sailing on the Nile.

Today the ship docks at Kom Ombo, where you will visit the Twin Temples of Sobek and Horus famous for their symmetrical design. The journey continues to Edfu to explore the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt that provides a clear picture of ancient Egyptian architecture. After the tour, you return to the ship for dinner and overnight.

Arrive at Luxor, known as the world's largest open-air museum. The tour starts on the west bank of the Nile River which is the Valley of the Kings, the burial place of the pharaohs including Tutankhamun's tomb. Next, visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, Egypt's first pharaoh's temple built with unique architecture, and finish with the Colossi of Memnon, two giant stone statues over 3,400 years old. After lunch, you will be taken to the east bank of Luxor to witness the grandeur of Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt, as well as Luxor Temple which is enchanting with its beautiful atmosphere at dusk. In the evening, return to the ship for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, disembark and board your flight back to Cairo. Once there, you will be taken to the Islamic Cairo area to visit the Citadel of Salah El-Din, a historic fortress built in the 12th century, as well as the Mohammed Ali Alabaster Mosque, a stunning Ottoman-style mosque. Enjoy dinner before staying overnight at a hotel in Cairo.

The journey continues to the Mediterranean coastal city of Alexandria, which was once the center of world knowledge. The tour includes Qaitbay Fort, a 15th-century fortress built on the site of the ancient Pharos lighthouse, as well as Montaza Park, a royal garden with a beautiful view. You will also visit the Alexandria Library, one of the largest and most modern libraries in the world, as well as stop at the Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque which is famous for its Islamic architecture. The tour ends with a visit to Maqam Nabi Daniel which is believed to be the tomb of Prophet Daniel. After a seafood lunch, you return to Cairo for dinner and overnight.

Today begins with a visit to the Salahuddin al-Ayubi Fort, a symbol of Islamic majesty in Egypt. You will then visit Al-Azhar Mosque and Al-Azhar University, the oldest and most influential center of Islamic studies in the world. After lunch, stop at Sayidina Al-Hussein Mosque, which is believed to keep the remains of the Prophet Muhammad SAW's family. Next, enjoy a shopping experience at Khan El Khalili Bazaar, a traditional market known for its lively atmosphere and variety of local handicrafts. In the evening, you will be entertained with a special dinner on the Nile Cruise, while enjoying the beautiful panorama of the Nile River.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Kuala Lumpur.
