Itinerary
Arriving in Xi’an, participants will be greeted by local representatives before checking into the hotel to rest after a long flight. Overnight in Xi'an.
The tour begins with a visit to the Terracotta Army Archaeological Site, one of the wonders of the world that displays thousands of statues of soldiers from the Qin Dynasty. Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in the DIY “Little Warrior” activity with an audio guide. Then, prayer and a visit to the Xi'an Great Mosque, a historic mosque that has become an icon of the local Muslim community. The day continues with sightseeing and shopping in Muslim Street, a lively area with halal food and unique souvenirs. Overnight in Xi'an.
This morning, participants will board a high-speed train to Lanzhou. Upon arrival there, the visit continues to the Mother Monument, a symbol of mother's love, followed by a tour of the Watermill Park and enjoying the scenery at the Zhongshan Bridge. Prayer and pilgrimage at the Nanguan Mosque, then enjoy a halal dinner at the famous Nanguan Snack Street. Overnight in Lanzhou.
±2 hour drive to Linxia, nicknamed “Little Mecca in China”. Here, participants will visit the traditional Islamic area of Bafang Thirteen Alleys, walking through the alleys with unique architecture. Next, stop at Lao Hua Mosque which is full of history. Before returning to Lanzhou, enjoy the local atmosphere on Zhengning Street which is lively with night markets. Overnight in Lanzhou.
Today participants will move further west towards Zhangye (±6 hours). Upon arrival, a special visit toZhangye Danxia (Rainbow Mountains), a stunning colorful geological formation considered to be God's great creation. Overnight inZhangye.
Return to Xi’an by high speed train. On arrival, visit and pray at Dongxinjie Mosque, another important mosque in the city. Next, have dinner and a leisurely stroll at Great Tang All Day Mall, a modern area that combines cultural heritage and contemporary lifestyle. Then, participants will be taken to the airport for the return trip.
Leaving back to Malaysia with a traveler's prayer and sweet memories from the land of China.
