Itinerary
Participants gathered at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) for international flights towards Istanbul , the largest city in Turkiye located between the Asian and European continents. The arrival is expected at night, and the participants will be taken directly to the accommodation for overnight in Istanbul to relax and get ready for the next day.
The day begins with a visit to some important landmarks in Istanbul. Among the first places to visit was Topkapi Palace (first page) , which has been the center of the Ottoman sultanate for over 400 years. It contains a variety of important Islamic artifacts, including the sword of Prophet Muhammad and the robe of his companions. Subsequently, participants will visit Hagia Sofia , a great structure that has become a church, then converted into a mosque, and now serves as a museum. Its internal architecture features a unique combination of Byzantine and Islamic art. Visits to local leather shops , which offers high quality leather products such as jackets, handbags, and wallets.
The tour continues to Blue Mosque (Blue Mosque) , known for the large dome and Iznik's blue tile decoration that adorns its interior walls. The mosque is still used as a place of worship to this day. Participants will also visit hippodrome , a horse race site in the Byzantine era that is now a public plain with important monuments such as Egyptian Obelisk and snake poles . Then to the Grand Mosque which has an interesting history and architecture. At the end of the visit, the participant will leave for Ankara , the Turkiye capital, for the night's stay.
The visit in Ankara began with a visit to the Haci Bayram Square , which was the focus of tourists as it was Veli Haci Mosque , Turkish -famous Sufi figure. Next to the Ataturk Complex Complex (Anıtkabir) , the placement of the Mustafa Kemal Atatürk , founder of the Modern Turkiye Republic. The complex symbolizes the respect of the Turkiye people to their great leaders. On the way to cappadocia , participants will go through beautiful natural scenery including Mount Erciyes , the highest mountain in the Central Anatolia area covered with snow almost throughout the year. Accommodation in Cappadocia is available upon arrival.
Today is allocated to explore the beauty of cappadocia , a well -known area around the world with a unique natural rock landscape resulting from a volcanic eruption of millions of years ago. The tour begins to Goreme Valley , Pigeon Valley , and Devrent Valley , featuring animal -shaped rock formations such as camels, seals, and humans. Participants can capture pictures of this incredible scene. Then to the uchisar palace , a natural fort located at the top of the hill and became a strategic location in ancient times. From the summit, participants can enjoy panoramic throughout the Cappadocia area.
The tour continues to the underground city , namely tunnels and underground rooms used by the early residents as shelter from enemy attacks. Participants will also be taken to the carpet factory , to see the traditional Turkish carpet weaving process produced. Not to mention, stop by the turquoise and onyx stone shops that offer local handmade jewelry and souvenirs. Finally, the participants will go to the Avanos Pottery Center , a place for clay pottery since Hittite.
On the way to Pamukkale , the participants will stop at ancient karavanserai , the lodge of traders and caravans in ancient times along the Silk Road. This structure gives an overview of trading life in the past. Upon arriving at konya , the participants will visit Mevlana Museum , a place of sovereign Jalaluddin Rumi , Sufi, poet and founder of the Mevlevi Company Mazhab famous for its rotating dance. The museum contains manuscripts, musical instruments and clothes of the Sufis.
Participants will be taken to the historic area hierapolis , an ancient city built by the Greek and Roman people. The site contains old theater, thermal ponds, and ruins of sacred buildings. Nearby is Cotton Castle (Cotton Palace) , a white limestone terrace formation formed from a copy of hot water flow. The water is believed to have health nutrients and participants can dip their feet in the natural pool.
Then the participants will stop at Cotton Textile Factory , the production of various high quality textile products such as towels and clothing. Before heading to the Bursa, participants will visit Kampung Cumalikizik , a UNESCO Heritage Village that still preserves the Ottoman architecture.
Visit begins with a visit to Ulu Camii Mosque , one of Turkiye's largest mosque built with Seljuk architecture. The mosque has 20 dome and engraving calligraphy. Next to koza han , a historic market that sells silk and luxury textile products.
The tour continues to Green Mosque (Yesil Camii) and Green Tomb (Yesil Türbe) , known for its Turquoise green tile decorating the inside and outside. On the way back to Istanbul, participants will stop at Turkish Sweet Shop (Turkish Delight) to buy traditional sweets. Finally, a visit to the colorful spice market and the local spice aroma.
The last day in Turkiye as the closing of the journey, the participants will ride the Bosphorus (Bosphorus Cruise) to enjoy the beauty of the Bosphorus Strait that separates the Asian and European continents. Old palace views, mosques, traditional wooden houses and modern bridges will be seen throughout the voyage. Later, participants will leave for the airport for a flight back home.
Arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The program ends with sweet memories of Turkiye's rich history, culture, and beauty of nature.
