Itinerary
Your journey begins with a flight from Kuala Lumpur to the capital of Hunan, Changsha. Upon arrival at Changsha Huanghua International Airport, you will be taken to the hotel for check-in. Relax after the flight and get ready for the next day's epic adventure.
After breakfast, you will take a high-speed train to the famous city of Zhangjiajie, which is the inspiration of the movie world and a paradise for nature lovers. The adventure begins with a visit to Tianmen Mountain, one of the most impressive landmarks in China.
Ride the Tianmen Mountain Cable Car, a 7.5 km cable car, which is the second longest cable car in the world. The view from the top is breathtaking with the chasms and high cliffs all around you.
Test your courage on the Glass Skywalk, a glass walkway that hangs over the edge of a steep cliff. Then, you will see for yourself Tianmen Cave or better known as Heaven's Gate, a magnificent natural rock arch at the top of the mountain.
Next, you will go through 99-Bend Mountain Road, an extreme winding road listed among the 10 most dangerous roads in the world – an adrenaline-filled experience! Not far from there, you will see 72 Strange Buildings, including the World's Tallest Standing Building (109.9 meters) recognized by Guinness World Records. After the tour, you will check into the hotel in Zhangjiajie and rest.
This day is full of amazing natural wonders at Zhangjiajie National Forest Park – China's first recognized national park and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Take the Bailong Elevator, the world's tallest outdoor elevator, to enjoy the view from the towering sandstone cliffs. You will see Avatar Hallelujah Mountain, the iconic mountain that inspired the scenery in the movie Avatar.
Next, enjoy the incredible panorama at Yangjiajie Peak Wall, a vantage point that offers the beauty of a dramatic mountain landscape. Explore the unique natural rock formations in the West Sea Stone Forest, another area within the park full of geological wonders.
Finish the tour with a ride on the Tianzi Mountain Cable Car, from where you can witness the beauty of the mountain area from the air – an unforgettable sight. At night, you can stroll and shop on Xibu Street, which is filled with local food, souvenirs and cultural entertainment.
This morning, you will board a high-speed train to Guangzhou, China's modern and historic southern metropolitan city. The tour begins with a photo stop at Canton Tower, an iconic communication tower and one of the tallest structures in the world.
Then, enjoy the lively atmosphere of Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, a popular shopping area decorated with traditional Lingnan architecture and rows of shops and street food. After exploring, check into the hotel and relax.
Start the day with a visit to Haizhu Wholesale Market, famous for selling fabrics, accessories, and home goods at wholesale prices. Next, visit Baima Clothes Wholesale Market, the largest wholesale clothing center in Guangzhou – a must-see for fashion lovers and wholesalers.
The tour continues to Huaisheng Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in China which features classical and historical Islamic architecture – believed to have been built since the time of the Prophet's companions SAW.
Finally, you will visit the Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, a popular shopping location that also houses the glazed ancient street, allowing you to see the remains of the original road from the old dynasty. There are also various food stalls, souvenirs and modern shops here.
After finishing, you will be taken to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport for your flight back to Kuala Lumpur.
