Upon arrival at Kuching International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. The journey begins with a captivating Kuching City Tour, lasting approximately three hours. Discover the rich history and cultural diversity of Kuching as you explore its iconic landmarks, including the Colonial Law Court, Clock Tower, Charles Brooke Memorial, Post Office, and Square Tower—all remnants of the White Rajah era.

Continue to the vibrant Chinatown, where you can immerse yourself in the local ambiance and admire the stunning architecture of Chinese temples. The tour also includes a scenic drive past Astana, the official residence of the Governor of Sarawak, before proceeding through a picturesque Malay Village.

A visit to the Kuching Waterfront offers a breathtaking view of the Sarawak River, followed by a delightful stop at a local Kek Lapis shop, where you can sample and purchase Sarawak’s famous layered cakes. After an enriching day, transfer to the hotel for check-in and leisure time.

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on an immersive cultural journey to the renowned Sarawak Cultural Village, famously known as the ‘Living Museum’. This extraordinary village showcases Sarawak’s rich cultural heritage, featuring authentic replicas of seven ethnic houses, including a Chinese Farmhouse, Malay Stilted House, Melanau Tall House, Penan Hut, and traditional Longhouses of the Iban, Bidayuh, and Orang Ulu tribes. Each house displays unique artifacts and crafts, and visitors can witness traditional demonstrations such as beadwork, wood and bamboo carvings, ‘Pua’ weaving, and straw weaving.

A highlight of the visit is the Traditional Dance Performance at the village theater, where you will be enthralled by the vibrant and rhythmic dances of Sarawak’s indigenous tribes. After an insightful exploration, enjoy a delicious local lunch before continuing to the next destination.

In the afternoon, head to Semenggoh Nature Reserve, a sanctuary for rescued and rehabilitated Orangutans. During feeding time, you will have a rare opportunity to observe these magnificent primates in their natural habitat. Watch them swing effortlessly through the treetops, interact with one another, and display fascinating behaviors. The guide will provide informative commentary on the characteristics and conservation efforts surrounding these ‘Men of the Forest’.

Before concluding the day, visit the Sarawak Bird’s Nest Factory (Sinpio) and a Local Product Centre, where you can shop for authentic Sarawakian souvenirs, including bird’s nest products, pepper, handicrafts, and other local delicacies.

A sumptuous dinner is provided before transferring back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
