Upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, start your adventure with a scenic drive to Kundasang. On the way, stop at Tamparuli Bridge, an iconic suspension bridge that offers stunning views of the Tamparuli River as well as glimpses of local culture. Next, visit Tamparuli Town, a small town known for its local market and traditional shops. You will also pass the ‘Upside Down House’, a unique house built upside down, making it an impressive architectural attraction. Then, continue your journey to Nabalu Town and Kundasang Market, the best place to buy local produce such as fresh fruits, vegetables, and handicrafts while enjoying the beautiful panorama of Mount Kinabalu. After a fulfilling day, check into your accommodation in Kundasang and rest for a good night.
Start your day with a visit to the Desa Cattle Farm, often referred to as the "New Zealand of Sabah," where you can enjoy stunning farm views, interact with dairy cows, and sample fresh milk and yogurt. The journey continues to Poring Hot Spring, a destination famous for its natural hot springs that have therapeutic properties. For those who love challenges, try the thrilling experience on the Canopy Walkway, a suspension bridge that offers a spectacular view of the rainforest from a high level. Next, visit Kinabalu Park, the first UNESCO World Heritage Site in Malaysia, which is rich in flora and fauna diversity and the majestic view of Mount Kinabalu. In the afternoon, return to Kota Kinabalu and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before checking into the hotel for the night.
Spend your morning leisurely before checking out of the hotel before 12:00 noon. Depending on the flight schedule, you may have time for some last minute shopping or sightseeing around the city.
