Itinerary
On arrival at Amman Airport, you will be greeted and assisted by Highlands representatives. The journey begins with a visit to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth with a height of over 400 meters below sea level. This unique salt lake is known for its high salt content, allowing one to float easily, as well as its mineral-rich black mud, believed to have therapeutic and cosmetic benefits. After relaxing in the Dead Sea, we will continue our visit to the Tomb of the Prophet Syu'aib (A.S.), a prophet who was sent to guide the Madyan people. After the tour, we will return to Amman for dinner and overnight at the hotel
After breakfast, we will visit the Tomb of Prophet Yusha' Bin Nun (A.S.), a close friend of Prophet Musa (A.S.) and the leader of the Bani Israel after him. In the Bible, he is known as Joshua and is the great-grandson of Prophet Yusuf (A.S.). Next, we head to the Jordan Valley to visit the Tomb of Abu Ubaidah 'Amir Bin Jarrah, one of the ten companions who were promised heaven. He played an important role as a commander in the army of the Rashidin Caliphate under the rule of Caliph Umar and was considered a candidate for caliph. After this tour, we will return to Amman for dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, the trip begins with a visit to the Ashabul Kahfi Cave, where a group of young believers took refuge from a tyrannical king. God S.W.T. put them to sleep for 309 years as mentioned in Surah Al-Kahfi. This historic cave is located in Abu Alanda, Amman. Next, we headed to the Mu'tah Battlefield, the location of the famous battle that took place in 629 AD between the Islamic army led by the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and the Byzantine Roman army. Here are also the tombs of three noble companions: Zaid Bin Harithah, Ja'far Al-Tayyar, and Abdullah Bin Rawahah, who were martyred in this battle. After this meaningful tour, we will return to Amman for dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, we will head to the eastern part of Jordan to explore the Desert Palace, which is an example of Umayyad-era defensive palace architecture. These palaces played an important role in Islamic history as fortresses, hunting grounds, and administrative centers. The journey continues with a visit to the Last Friend Tree, where it is believed that the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) once took shelter on his way to Syria. This tree still stands majestically as a significant historical and spiritual landmark. After the tour, we return to Amman for dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, we will visit the Tomb of Abdul Rahman Bin 'Auf, a rich and philanthropic friend, famous for his contribution to Islam. We will also visit the Tomb of Bilal Bin Rabah, the first muezzin in Islam who was a companion of the Prophet and a symbol of perseverance and faith. Next, the journey takes us to the Battlefield of Yarmouk, the site of one of the most important battles in Islamic history. Occurring in 636 AD, the Battle of Yarmouk marked the fall of Byzantine rule in Syria and paved the way for the rapid spread of Islam. After a day exploring history and appreciating spiritual values, we return to Amman for dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, we will start the Amman Panorama Tour, exploring the main landmarks and historical sites of the Jordanian capital. Then, we will revisit Ashabul Kahfi Cave to learn more about the history and religious importance of this place. After a day full of meaningful experiences, we return to the hotel in Amman for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, we will move to Amman Airport for departure, marking the end of a meaningful Islamic journey in Jordan.
