Itinerary
Arriving at Amman Airport , you will be welcomed and assisted by a representative from Highlands. Our journey begins with a visit to the Dead Sea , the lowest point of the earth over 400 meters below sea level. His very salty water allows anyone to float easily, while his black mud is rich in minerals famous for its therapeutic and cosmetic benefits. After enjoying the uniqueness of the wonders of this nature, we continue our journey to the tomb of the Prophet Sho'ayb (a.s) , a prophet who is respected for his wisdom and guidance. Next, we return to amman for dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
After breakfast, we started the day by visiting the tomb of the Prophet Yousa 'bin Nun (a.s) , a close friend of Moses (a.s) and the leaders of the Children of Israel after his death. He was known as Joshua in the text of the previous book and was a great word to the Prophet Joseph (a.s). Next, we head to the Jordan Valley to visit the tomb of Abu Ubaidah Amer bin Jarrah , a leading commander in the army of Caliph al-Rashidin and among the ten companions promised by the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). After exploring these historic sites, we return to amman for dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
After breakfast, we visit Ashabul Kahfi Cave , where a group of young men seeks protection from the tyranny of a government. According to Islamic tradition, Allah (s.w.t) has been sleeping for 309 years. Their story is mentioned in surah al-Kahfi in the Quran. This cave is located in Abu Alanda, amman . Then, we move south to visit the battlefield of Mu'tah , the location of the historic battle that took place in 629 AD between the Islamic army and the East Roman Empire. Here, we also have the opportunity to visit the tombs of Zaid bin Harithah, Ja'far At-Tayyar and Abdullah bin Rawahah , the martyrs in this battle. After visiting these historic places, we return to amman for dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
After breakfast, we move east to explore the Jordanian desert palace , a collection of Palace Palace built during the Umayyad rule in Bilad Ash-Sham province. These palaces play an important role in early Islamic civilization. Next, we visit the tree of the last surviving friend , a place where Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) is believed to have rested on his way to Syria. The tree is still standing firm and witnesses Islamic history. We end the day by returning to the hotel at amman for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, we visit the tomb of Abdulrahman bin Auf and Bilal bin Rabah , two leading Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). Later, we continued our journey to Yarmouk battlefield , the location of a large battle that took place in August 636 AD between the Byzantine empire and Caliph al-Rasyidin. The battle lasted for six days and ended with a huge victory for Muslims, marking the beginning of the rapid development of Islam in the region. After this full visit, we return to amman for dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
On the last day, we started the panoramic visit of Amman City , exploring the Jordanian capital's main landmark. After appreciating the beauty and history of the city, we left for the AMMAN Airport for a return flight, marking the end of a full journey through Islamic heritage in Jordan.
