Itinerary
Upon arrival at Amman Airport, you will be met and assisted by a Highlands representative. Our journey begins with a visit to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, over 400 meters below sea level. The hypersaline waters make floating effortless, and its mineral-rich black mud is renowned for therapeutic and cosmetic benefits. After enjoying this unique natural wonder, we proceed to visit the Makam of Prophet Sho’ayb (Upon Him Be Peace), the revered prophet known for his wisdom and guidance. We then return to Amman for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Setibanya di Lapangan Terbang Amman, anda akan disambut dan dibantu oleh wakil dari Highlands. Perjalanan kita bermula dengan lawatan ke Laut Mati, titik terendah di Bumi yang berada lebih 400 meter di bawah paras laut. After breakfast, we start the day by visiting the Makam of Prophet Yousha Bin Noon (Upon Him Be Peace), who was a close companion of Prophet Musa (Upon Him Be Peace) and led the Bani Israel after his passing. He is known as Joshua in biblical texts and was the great-grandson of Prophet Yusuf (Upon Him Be Peace). Next, we travel to the Jordan Valley to visit the Makam of Companion Abu Obaidah Amer Bin Jarrah, a key commander in the Rashidun army and one of the ten companions promised paradise by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). After exploring these historic sites, we return to Amman for dinner and overnight stay.
Selepas sarapan, kita memulakan hari dengan melawat Makam Nabi Yousha’ Bin Nun (A.S), seorang sahabat rapat kepada Nabi Musa (A.S) dan pemimpin Bani Israel selepas kewafatannya. Beliau dikenali sebagai Joshua dalam teks-teks kitab terdahulu dan merupakan cicit kepada Nabi Yusuf (A.S). Seterusnya, kita menuju ke Lembah Jordan untuk melawat Makam Sahabat Abu Ubaidah Amer Bin Jarrah, seorang panglima utama dalam tentera Khalifah al-Rasyidin dan antara sepuluh sahabat yang dijanjikan syurga oleh Nabi Muhammad (S.A.W). Selepas meneroka tapak-tapak bersejarah ini, kita kembali ke Amman untuk makan malam dan bermalam di hotel.
After breakfast, we visit the Cave of the Seven Sleepers (As-hab Alkahef), where a group of pious youths sought refuge from a tyrannical ruler. As per Islamic tradition, Allah (SWT) put them to sleep for 309 years. Their story is mentioned in Surah Al-Kahf in the Quran. The cave is located in Abu Alanda, Amman. Next, we drive south to visit the Mu’tah Battle Field, the site of the historic battle fought in 629 CE between the Muslim forces and the Eastern Roman Empire. Here, we also visit the Makam of Companions Zaid Bin Harethah, Ja’far Altayar, and Abdullah Bin Rawaha, who were martyred in this battle. After exploring these significant sites, we return to Amman for dinner and overnight stay.
Selepas sarapan, kita melawat Gua Ashabul Kahfi, tempat sekumpulan pemuda yang soleh mencari perlindungan daripada kezaliman seorang pemerintah. Menurut tradisi Islam, Allah (S.W.T) menidurkan mereka selama 309 tahun. Kisah mereka disebut dalam Surah Al-Kahfi dalam al-Quran. Gua ini terletak di Abu Alanda, Amman. Kemudian, kita bergerak ke selatan untuk melawat Medan Perang Mu’tah, lokasi pertempuran bersejarah yang berlaku pada tahun 629 Masihi antara tentera Islam dan Empayar Rom Timur. Di sini, kita juga berpeluang melawat Makam Sahabat Zaid Bin Harithah, Ja’far At-Tayyar dan Abdullah Bin Rawahah, yang syahid dalam pertempuran ini. Selepas melawat tempat-tempat bersejarah ini, kita kembali ke Amman untuk makan malam dan bermalam di hotel.
Following breakfast, we travel east to explore the Desert Castles of Jordan, a collection of fortified palaces built during the Umayyad period in the province of Bilad Ash-Sham. These castles played an essential role in early Islamic civilization. We then visit the Last Living Sahabah Tree, where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is believed to have rested during his journey to Syria. The tree, still standing, is a remarkable relic of Islamic history. We conclude the day by returning to our hotel in Amman for dinner and overnight stay.
Selepas sarapan, kita bergerak ke timur untuk meneroka Istana Padang Pasir Jordan, koleksi istana berkubu yang dibina pada zaman pemerintahan Umayyah di wilayah Bilad Ash-Sham. Istana-istana ini memainkan peranan penting dalam tamadun Islam awal. Seterusnya, kita melawat Pohon Sahabat Terakhir Yang Masih Hidup, tempat di mana Nabi Muhammad (S.A.W) dipercayai telah berehat semasa perjalanan ke Syria. Pokok ini masih berdiri teguh dan menjadi saksi sejarah Islam. Kita menamatkan hari dengan kembali ke hotel di Amman untuk makan malam dan bermalam.
After breakfast, we visit the Makam of Companions Abdulrahman Bin Auf and Bilal Bin Rabah, both among the most distinguished companions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Then, we proceed to the Yarmouk Battle Field, the site of the decisive battle fought in August 636 CE between the Byzantine Empire and the Rashidun Caliphate. The battle lasted six days and ended in a monumental Muslim victory, marking the beginning of the rapid expansion of Islam in the region. After an insightful visit, we return to Amman for dinner and overnight stay.
Selepas sarapan, kita melawat Makam Sahabat Abdulrahman Bin Auf dan Bilal Bin Rabah, dua sahabat Nabi Muhammad (S.A.W) yang terkemuka. Kemudian, kita meneruskan perjalanan ke Medan Perang Yarmouk, lokasi pertempuran besar yang berlaku pada Ogos 636 Masihi antara Empayar Byzantine dan Khalifah al-Rasyidin. Pertempuran ini berlangsung selama enam hari dan berakhir dengan kemenangan besar bagi umat Islam, menandakan permulaan perkembangan pesat Islam di rantau ini. Selepas lawatan yang penuh penghayatan ini, kita kembali ke Amman untuk makan malam dan bermalam di hotel.
On our final day, we embark on a Panoramic Amman City Tour, exploring key landmarks of Jordan’s capital. After soaking in the city's beauty and history, we transfer to Amman Airport for our departure flight, concluding our enriching journey through Jordan's Islamic heritage.
Pada hari terakhir, kita memulakan Lawatan Panorama Bandar Amman, meneroka mercu tanda utama ibu negara Jordan ini. Selepas menghayati keindahan dan sejarah bandar, kita bertolak ke Lapangan Terbang Amman untuk penerbangan pulang, menandakan berakhirnya perjalanan penuh makna menerusi warisan Islam di Jordan.
